The Needle Pit scene was very disturbing. Amanda had to dig through a bunch of needles containing a bunch of unknown diseases and most of them went through her body. Most of the franchise contained unwatchable traps, and this is one of them.

Knowing she helped set up the house, I can only hope the grunge on the needles is fake (a pit full of needles is bad enough) on the off chance that she might be subject to it. Amanda probably had an out for most of the traps (the padlock on the razor box, the spigot in the furnace, etc), except the needle in a needle pit, so making it 'not infectious' was the least she could do for herself 😅

The commentary for the movie explained that somehow several real syringes fell into the pit and the crew had to halt and search for them not knowing how many there were to find

The needle pit is forever burned and etched in to the minds of anybody that has seen this entire franchise...and the "Hello Zepp" theme song (yes thats the actual name of the main theme song for anybody who didn't know) is by far the best horror movie theme song EVER

The even Saws are where it's at for me. 2 has amazing set-design and Tobin Bell being a wheelechair bound mastermind while he talks Detective Wahlbergers to death is fantastic.

The first SAW movies were absolute masterpieces. There is not even that much gore, but if there is - it has purpose. It's more of a psychological side to it. the point of appriciating life more after this and stuff. I sincerely like the concept of it and the creativity.

Definitely do Saw 3! But as for other franchises, Happy Deathday or the Babysitter. A new movie also just came out called Totally Killer, it was pretty funny and had a great twist.

I would say stopping at 3 if you’re not super invested is a good place. That’s where the og writers finished what they intended to make and I personally feel like the series drops after that.

Definitely check out the rest. They get a bit silly but none are straight up bad. 4 is different but still good but watch 3&4 close together! It picks up right where the other left off from now on mostly!!

I love Saw 2 it’s probably my favorite. After Saw 3 it’s kinda all over the place with the story line and they just get gross. But you should definitely finish them and the new Saw is coming out it looks really good! You should finish the Scream franchise for sure!
