In this live-action sequel, the lovable dog Scooby-Doo once again joins his pals Shaggy (Matthew Lillard), Velma (Linda Cardellini), Fred (Freddie Prinze Jr.) and Daphne (Sarah Michelle Gellar) as they stumble into another seemingly supernatural mystery. In addition to facing off against various monsters that are tormenting their town, the gang must deal with television journalist Heather Jasper-Howe (Alicia Silverstone), who is out to discredit their investigations.

fun fact to the black knight ghost was the ghost or villian they unmasked in the very first ever scooby doo ep ever made plus i think all the monsters are from scooby doo eps from past eps at some point exept the main villian and the cotton candy glob...lol i watched all kinds og scooby doo content growing up back in they day plus my mom loved the show when she was younger and still does

Fun fact about this movie the song they sing in the toilet brush is Frank Sinatra's cover of stranger in the night. This is the song that Hannah Barbara got the name scooby doos from because at the end of the song Frank Sinatra added oobie doobie doo and they thought he said scooby doobie doo.

Fun Fact: A portion of fans felt that it would have been a better reveal for Heather Jasper Howe (the reporter) to actually be Jacobs’s daughter instead of an alias he used. To be honest, I agree. A daughter who looks like someone who’s only known for her beauty, but actually has the intelligence to succeed in where her father had failed. That would explain why she looked down so much on Daphne, referring to her as “Just a Pretty Face.” Not only would this have been a better twist, but it would have given her character more depth and actually fall in line with the story.

Scooby Doo and the curse of the lake monster was a good one too but I do prefer the one in Mexico and the pirate one plus the Scooby Doo camp scare one mostly because like in the original one you got to listen to the three different stories that you would tell it like a campfire, but that one was just more like scary like one of those scary cringe movies the Scooby Doo camp scare one but like in a cool way though
