Well, you can actually see when Peter reaches the bridge in his iron spider suit and we see his HUD display, it says the EDITH system is offline, and also other suit functions seems to be offline as well, probably because since Stark Industries is under investigation too, so i guess the edith servers and everything is down as well

As far as their memories I just settled on the idea that it literally stopped people from being able to know or learn from things before the spell was cast Peter's identity. So the stuff is still there, but when people see it, it just doesn't register in their mind.

7:27 sidelining Edith is not just about them wanting it not included. In the movie because Stark Industries is being investigated by DODC, all Stark tech is now offline, including Edith. So while it might have left a bad taste in his mouth, Peter also cannot use Stark Tech now. His Iron Spider suit also had very limited functionalities in the movie because of this.

Any information out there is at the end of the day stored physically which means that the spell not only wiped Everyones memory but also made them delete all the information about peater Parker being spiderman from their respective sources which should solve the problem I still don't get why everyone is still so confused about it the only part that should confuse anyone is the the scale of the spell i.e what range did the spell applied itself (only the earth, the universe or the whole Multiverse) I think most likely the Multiverse. There problem solved.

I think it would work like it did after One More Day and after Daredevil did it too in the comics (he got Killgrave's son to make everyone forget that Matt Murdock is Daredevil) and the way it works in both cases (as both have psysically info like pictures and such) the spell would create a mental block which would make everyone that tries to reach out the proof about these characters identity just not see their faces or names, like it blurs them out, so the proof still exists but nobody can actually see the important parts.

I don't think he needs Edith glasses, since he can access Edith when he's wearing the Iron Spider suit, as long as she's online. And only he can access it anyway, if he doesn't give the controls to someone else they're just regular glasses. (When flash took the glasses in far from home, he didn't see anything out of the ordinary, for example, despite Peter was using Edith only moments ago) And about the spell that makes people forget things, I always thought it was obvious that it also erased the photos, videos etc. Because otherwise it doesn't have much use anyway. (Minor *SPOILER* for the sixth or seventh Harry Potter movie, if you care about that don't read the rest) When Hermione used a spell to erase her parents' memories about her (I believe the spell was "obliviate"), we also saw Hermione disappearing from their family pictures. The photos that just had her turned into empty frames. Strange's spell reminded me of that moment and I thought it would work the same way. It's literally magic after all

And btw, if anything, deleting the footage from everyone's computers and phones, and getting rid of the physical photos must be easier for the spell. That's something we can do, you can physically get rid of all the Peter's photos in that school, and Edith can delete all the footage from the computers. If you think about it, the hard part here is making millions of people forget something, and I think it's kinda funny how people are focusing on the other part like it seems impossible to them lol

The vast majority of the movie was shot using bluescreen because of COVID. But Jon Watts is really good at implementing the digital background and cg in general. It's only some of the exterior shots that looked kinda fake. But yeah jaby is also right, it may have also been done to maintain the secrecy of the plot.

that memory wiping spell is insane. in theory could docter strange have not used that spell to erase everyones memory of thanos' mother, and in doing so his father would not know her and her child would cease to exist. my reasoning is that if "Flash point" the book that was only made because of peter/spider man being known by flash would in a way make them the books parents, but by removing his second identity the book was deleted so wouldn't thanos be deleted if their parents never knew each other as a way to correct an inconsistency
