1. it aired from late 1998-2006 and the few season 1 episodes that did run so I don't think its a 90's show it only ran new episodes once and then the next new episode so it wasn't watched much since there were no reruns meaning people vhs recorded them 2. the sex appeal is for male viewers cause while the show can be scary dramatic and tense its hard to convince someone to watch a show about girls unless theres some sex appeal and when you fighting crime for unseflish reasons to help you get away with showing some clevage we allow this also 1999 and very early 2000's style was going early 1990's retro...watch buffy watch scream 3 dawson's creak friends angel many other shows the list goes on and on...for some reason after a decade people thought that style was back in 3. the show is hard to understand without knowing dynamics like how the oldest sister is not as close with the youngest cause she moved out early ad the middle sister stayed so they have a closer bond but the reason they did that was cause the 2 actresses who were both famous from other shows (whose the boss and bevelery hills 90210) but their egos meant they didn't like working together for too long so they rarely put them alone for too long 4. the show will kill multiple main likeable characters the show built up to be rooted for with lots of depth screen time and they get killed suddenly because the actor or actress left the show...and the show will give half assed explanations because they most likely wanted too much money so they don't get a satisfying end the reaming cast gets the spotlight 5. the actresses sometimes directed the episodes and its noticeable 6. the parents got changed 2 times and theres a dumb twist of a 4th sister

the work schedule for actors in the early 2000's especially for a cgi battle centric seasonal show with as many episodes as charmed had with all the writers directors free lance and improvising and guest actors and changing of sets and night to day scenes means its very hard for a young actor to shine in a guest role when he has no chemistry or idea whats going on hes told to just react with no real training and rare retakes cause time budget lighting ect….not making excuses he sucked he was clearly green and not motivated but theres other factors out of your control and behind the scenes is always nuts for live action semi cartoonish shows with big casts of background characters and different sets you can use at certain times only on a quick schedule and sometimes you see the veteran actors fail to rise to the occasion in small roles they barley get paid for so they don't care ..same thing with guest roles small paycheck time constraints equals lack of performance cause the director is not going to waste his or her time on a one off which this show had plenty of and heck they usually had a band sometimes small but some turned into big bands playing live so thats another mess altogether...

Charmed was definitely a top show I watched along with Buffy. Yes it has a family tone but there are some great storylines and acting in the show as well. It's a comfort show but I think it still holds up well. Maybe one day you will consider reacting to it :)

This is probably my least favorite charmed episode lol so please don't base the show off of it 😅 charmed is one of the best and underrated TV shows. I hope you would consider reacting to it someday, there are very few reactors which makes me so sad. If you decide to there are so many charmed fans who are always happy to find a new reactor 😊

This was great and fun to watch because before SPN came along, even before I started with Buffy or Angel, Charmed was my OG favorite and then SPN took the mantle. I loved the OG Charmed but it did take me a few years after Misha showed up on SPN for me to go back and catch him in this. Fun to see his progress and notice he was actually on my favorite before SPN came along!

I stopped everything for this show as a teenager literary rushed home was fast as possible so I wouldn't miss is bought all the charmed magazines I could and bought the boxsets. I really hope you do this show next. I've been watching Buffy and Angel over that last couple months and found you, I'm a lot further than you with Buffy and Angel and love watching your videos on them the editing is awesome.

there are so many things that the Charmed ones and the Winchesters have in Common and here it goes 1: Destiny: the sisters come from a long line of very strong witches and their destiny is to fight demons warlocks, ghosts, vampires, 2: family dynamic: the sisters have basically the same sister dynamic that sam and dean have on supernatural if you love Supernatural then you will love this show. 3: The Angel: the sisters have a whitelighter that protects and heals them their whitelighter sortof is a guardian angel....4: relationship issues: the sisters have tried finding love over the entire 8 seasons they have gone up and down in their love lives which we have seen with Sam and Dean too..5: The normal life issue: we have seen Sam and Dean attempt to have normal lives over the course of the show, the sisters have tried many times to lead normal lives how ever destiny keeps pulling them back....5: the dark side: Sam was addicted to demon blood and took a walk on the dark side, this happened to Phoebe when she became the queen of evil and was evil....they have time travel episodes like Supernatural too, they meet their grandparents just like Sam and Dean they have a half sister too just like Sam and dean had Adam, the sisters fought the source of all evil and Sam and Dean went up against Lucifer...it's basically the Female version of Supernatural, plus the older sister Prue basically took care of her sisters her whole life..doesn't that sound like Dean?

Charmed jus happens to b my favorite show. I noticed u tend to insult it a lot in this video. U cnt judge a whole series by watching only one episode. The show is so good that decades later fans r still begging for more. N they even made a graphic novel to continue where the series left off. This wasn't one of my favorite episodes. Charmed is a much better show than this episode makes it look. Charmed was in the same vein of Buffy, Angel, Xena, The Lost World. It was an action adventure show with a supernatural premise but mostly focused on the relationships of the sisters. It was mostly aimed at teens and young adults so it was made to be family friendly for the most part. At this time, shows in this genre this didn't have big budgets so the special effects were pretty laughable, but it didn't matter because that wasn't the focus of the show. The main cast of these shows were good, but a lot of the guest actors were just okay or not very good. Charmed is still one of my favorite shows of all time even though the writing had a lot of continuity problems and the effects were hokey. The chemistry between the sisters was like lightning in a bottle. Even though there were plenty of things to nitpick at with the show, I never stopped watching because they were so good together. Charmed also has a great sense of humor. The comedic timing is great and they also do interpersonal drama incredibly well. There are plenty of moments I can't watch of this show without ugly crying. Same with Xena and the Lost World. These shows didn't have big budgets, but they still managed to be incredibly entertaining and tell some pretty great stories. You can't really compare these shows to what we have currently. Things have changed so much in such a short amount of time. Film actors used to consider it such a giant step down to act on tv because most shows didn't have the budgets to be made to a high standard. Also because streaming services didn't exist yet and the internet was in it's infancy, episodes were structured differently and there were more of them in a season. A one hour drama was usually 22 to 24 episodes a season instead of 8 to 13 nowadays. You inevitably ended up with some not so great filler episodes every season.

I loved charmed but i was always frustrated because I wanted it to have more substance, especially with their mythology... supernatural is pretty much what I wanted it to be (although I did not need the gore, lol. Which I'm totally used to now). In the beginning of supernatural there are a LOT of parallels with charmed. They both had a wendigo in first season I think. They both had 2 episodes called "All Hell Breaks Loose" and there is more stuff i cant think of. I kind of think SPN watched Charmed and said how can we take a bunch of their stuff but do it better. ..🤷🏼‍♀️ I mean if you watch both shows, there are a LOT of similarities.
