I Watched the Entire DC Animated Universe

15:15 I was surprised "epilogue", last episode of season 4 of justice league, was not on your list of favorite episodes. This episode is slightly confusing, yes, but it also has some of the powerful emotional moments of the DCAU shows. That's saying something considering it's a very high bar (some of the vilain origin stories in batman the animated series are so tragic: babydoll, two-face, Harley Queen, mister freeze, etc). Obviously there's the scene with the girl you mentioned, and it's powerful. But even the rest, with the old Amanda Waller, reminiscing a long life and a few regrets, and the old batman relying on Terry, are very touching. It also gives the character of Terry- so great for an original character by the way- a much needed epilogue.

So, did you mean you didn't want to try to cover them in this video, or did you mean you've never read the tie-in comics that were put out during the B:TAS/TNBA era? Because if you've never read those, you are really missing out -- some of those comics were even better than the animated series they were riffing on. Indeed, some of those comics, especially the ones that ran under the title _Batman: Gotham Adventures_ (1998-2003), outshine the 'main continuity' Batman comics from the same period. Yes, even _Gotham Knights._ Needless to say, I'd love to see your take on the tie-in comics... If it's a quarter as entertaining as your take on the DCAU was, it'll be time well spent. 👍👍

I’ve never read them. I don’t have a lot of experience with comics. But I’ve heard good things and I might pick them up someday

@@BigBlueBackpack I'd say they make an excellent 'gateway drug' into comics, but the quality dropoff in most main-continuity comics from that era would probably save you from winding up like me with my yards of longboxes, LOL.
