If u want context In Naruto , the giant nine-tailed foxed was sealed inside him when he was just a new born , as the giant fox destroyed most of the village in the past and killed many people , 99% of the people of the village were either scared of him or hated him as he had the fox sealed in him , due to which Naruto led to a really difficult childhood because of this he made up his mind to become the leader [Hokage] of the village and then EVERYONE in the village will treat him with respect . In Boruto , the current Naruto right now has lost like 85% of his powers due to some events and the eyes you saw him with were actually a form called Sage Mode which temporarily makes him a bit strong . Due to some events happening earlier Boruto obtains a power called Karma which is basically in easy terms he is infused with an alien type of being which wants revenge on Naruto because he was responsible of destroying Momoshiki's actual body . The other dude Kawaki is actually Naruto's adoptive son and he once also was infused with an alien being but is now okay and the aliens powers got left behind in him so he was able to use them to face the one called Momoshiki inside Boruto . The other dude who is in cloak was the one who attacked them which led to Momoshiki coming out . Naruto was actually like the strongest on the planet until recently BUT after some events he is now not that strong anymore . The guy in the cloak has a power due to which he is able to connect dimensional routes , as u saw how he was coming in and out of reality due to this he connected himself with this girl u saw and she was able to listen and talk to her

If you want to watch Naruto and Boruto, it's gonna be a long ride, right now it has 1013 episodes in total with filler (if you don't know what filler is, Naruto and Boruto are not seasonal animes, which means every week a new episode comes out and it doesn't stop, so until there is a new manga chapter that they can animate, they make episodes that aren't a part of original story to "fill" the space), without filler Naruto and Boruto have 493 episodes which still is long but much shorter, but if you do like 3 episodes reaction at the same time, you'll finish it, surprisingly, pretty quickly

Boruto is overhated, it sure sucks bcz of the fillers but manga canon eps are amazing, if you start watching Naruto series then its better to watch Boruto only after you complete Naruto and Naruto shippuden. Boruto(manga canon eps) only has about 70 episodes, you can check for the fillers by following a guide from the google

I forgot how the first episode of Naruto was, and I almost cried while watching the video since I watched it when I was younger and I didn't really understood how deep it was... well I know you won't watch the whole series so... I recommend some fights NARUTO/NARUTO SHIPPUDEN (which is like naurto but with a time skip) Rock Lee vs Gaara Naruto vs Sasuke (from Naruto Shippuden) Kakashi vs Obito BORUTO Naruto and Sasuke vs Momoshiki (it can be from the movie or the anime which have some little differences but are mostly the same, but if you ask I would prefer the movie one) Naruto vs Isshiki (in this fight Naruto gets nerfed because it is now Boruto's anime)
