Even though Deadpool broke the 4th wall to say "Suck it Fox I'm going to Disneyland", this movie is in fact a love letter to all the Marvel characters that were in the Fox movies that set up the pathway for the MCU to be born. It was also in the Fox movies where Ryan met Hugh for the first time too. All the cameos were the Fox film characters saying their goodbyes and the end credits was showing their fun times behind the scenes making those movies. Something I really appreciated about this movie was the opening credits. Deadpool 1 and 2 had the credits at the very end and I was never a fan of that, but this time they acknowledged everyone just like James Gunn did with the Guardians franchise. The quality took me by surprise because this is a Deadpool movie. Deadpool 1 and 2 were made to intentionally look like total CGI, but with the MCU involved they had to raise the bar. It paid off more than well. Also, I don’t think the MCU was necessarily at a low point except with Secret Invasion. Most of the projects they revealed after Endgame were pretty excellent. Guardians Volume 3 and Loki season 2 helped pick up the slack and more. What I was most excited for was for you guys to see Laura again. Dafne Keen was only 10-11 years old when she worked on Logan 2017 which was her big acting debut. Now she’s 19 and after all these years she can still channel that rage. Dafne had doubts as to whether she would be able to portray Laura the same way or better. Now that she’s back, she actually wants to continue with her role. Before my sister and I went to see this movie on opening weekend, I joined for her first time watching Loki season 2. I especially wanted her to see Ke Huy Quan, and like me his character O.B. ended up being one of her favorites. The reactions paid off after seeing the new and improved TVA have a role. By the way, this is the second X-Men film to have Bye Bye Bye. The first one was X-Men 2. However, that’s not Ryan Reynolds in the suit. That was a pro dancer who needed to come up with the choreo as fast as he could. And finally, there are two variants in the Deadpool Corps that I wanna acknowledge. First, English soccer player Paul Mullin appeared as Welshpool. He currently plays in the Welsh club Wrexham which is co-owned by Ryan. You can also see Paul in the doc series Welcome to Wrexham. Our second mention is none other than Tom Holland’s brother Harry. He got to portray his own take on the merc with the mouth. They call him Haroldpool.

Fun fact: Ryan Reynolds' whole immediate family was in this movie. Ladypool was played by Blake Lively, his wife, Kidpool was played by their daughter, and Babypool was voiced by their new baby (the one that Nicepool referenced when he mentioned that Ladypool had just had a baby).

When I heard Iris by Goo Goo Dolls this became the perfect movie. Being from Buffalo, NY, The Goo Goo Dolls hometown, I love that their music is still popping up and makes you feel the same thing every time you hear it. It's really worth watching their live performance of it at home in Buffalo while it's downpouring.

Ryan Reynolds was born for this role, maybe even moreso than RDJ with Iron Man. You can tell that he has a genuine love for the character and the universe. I can never imagine anyone else in the role anymore. All of those ancient Fox MCU movies getting their proper send-off was a love letter to the fans and some amazing closure for their characters that we never really got from their films. We now have a direct tie-in for mutants to the MCU, and they have SO MANY stories they can tell that haven't been done yet.

Nicepool - Gordon Reynolds (Ryan's fictional twin brother) Ladypool - Blake Lively (Ryan's wife) Headpool - Nathan Fillion Kidpool - Inez Reynolds (Ryan & Blake's daughter Cowboypool (The Deadpool Kid) - Matthew McConaughey oh yeah and earlier in the film... Dancepool - Nick Pauley (professional dancer and choreographer)

Cassandra Nova is an Omega level mutant. She is up there with the most powerful beings in Marvel that can bend reality, the reason she needs to do the creepy hand orobe is cause her mental probing ability only works like that. I highly recommend reading up on her, her power set in insane

16:55 No, that is Tyler Mane. Triple H never played Sabretooth. Mane played him in the first X-Men film and reprised his role here. (Liev Shreiber played a seemingly different version of Sabretooth in X-Men Origins: Wolverine.) Mane also played Michael Myers in Rob Zombie's Halloween remake and its sequel.

When I saw this in the theater, my Wolverine fanboy-brain nearly exploded by the time the movie was finished. All of the cameos, Easter 🥚🥚🥚, references, little nods, etc., were absolutely beyond my expectations, and the little boy that started reading Wolverine’s comic books way back in the early 80’s was happier than he ever thought he could be at how amazing everything was.

So, things: Welshpool is played by Paul Mullin, star striker for Ryan's team, Wrexham. Ladypool was voiced by Mrs. Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively. Chris Evans played Johnny Storm AKA: The Human Torch, in one of Marvel's first attempts at a movie, the Fantastic Four. It flopped big time. DP's very significant glance at the camera when Blade was talking about "only one Blade" is because Ryan Reynolds was in Blade 3. It's actually the first movie I ever saw him in, and I thought he was the best part.
