For the record: yes, Tikki and Plagg know. They had to detransform near each other, but neither of them looked because of the “can’t tell each other” rule. But at another point, they actually had to switch holders for an episode due to Shenanigans, so Adrien acted as Ladybug and Marinette as Chat Noir.

I had a different interpretation of the episode when I first saw it. It’s not that the ship can’t happen. It’s that the ship can’t happen with Adrian‘s father still in the picture, because of his willingness to abuse his son for personal gain. So the ship can only happen at the end of the series or if they decide to change the main big bad to someone else and kill Adrian‘s father.

For clarification: he doesn't normally walk like that. He sort of runs like a cat sometimes when he finds over buildings or up the Eiffel Tower, sometimes meows, and has even purred one time, but he doesn't normally walk like a cat. I think the reason why he was walking like that was because it's canon that he's been stuck in his akumatized form for months, alone, and has probably gone insane with guilt, sadness, anger, and loneliness. I think having him walk like a cat was their way of showing that he's sort of gone feral.

Fun fact: Chat Blanc was originally a fandom idea since S1. He's usually designed with of course his white suit, but with his blonde hair and green, yellow, or pink eyes. There are other designs too. Why he was a favorite headcanon was because the moment he becomes akumatized, he becomes ruthless and lost all morale, even so far as willing to unalive Ladybug for not loving him back (most common reason why he becomes akumatized). @@once6824 The S5 episode was just made as a response from the creators as they realized the backlash of her stalking tendencies in earlier episodes. They had never planned for the episode otherwise, and had normalized it until they realized it harmed the show's reputation. I suggest you search the definition of stalking because although she didn't steal anything she still crossed into private property without permission through stealthy pursuit. She essentially secretly spied on him for countless episodes with obsessive intentions, and if you swapped the gender roles maybe then you would see how concerning her actions are. The worst part is probably that this is a kids show, so normalizing this behaviour to young audiences would make them assume being stalked as flattery, and influence them to show affection through similar means to those they like.

Just to advise, miraculous ladybug is not like other shows, this is a kids show broadcasted to over 120 countries and because of this, there are a lot of restrictions on the show, meaning it’s very difficult to write, but regardless, the creator and his team have explained that they can’t please everyone, but if your having fun watching the show, then their doing their job right as they simply try to make it fun for all ages. Marinette’s behavior actually correlates to Adrien when he is cat noir, neither of them know how to control their romantic emotions let alone know how to deal with it, which is typical teenager controlled by hormones. Their behavior is touched on several times. We do recommend you watch the series in order, it’s a fun ride.

@@bichocobee3222 the reason its becoming a little more mature is because the studio had decided to allow Thomas and his team to make the show a little more serious now that the countries know the kids will age along with the show, this is very good because they said they have a ton of ideas for future episodes but couldn't include them since restrictions prevented them. For ex: spoilers below When they wrote Cat Blanc, they were going to make Paris more apocalyptical looking, but the studio didnt allow it because countries felt it would upset the younger audiences. Later they finally got a chance to use their original idea in "Representation"

I know there are a number of people who aren't big fans of the show, but to throw my own opinion into the ring, I think it's pretty good overall. It's not perfect, a bit long-winded and a little inconsistent, but overall I think it's a very fun time While S1 - S3 are largely episodic, I do think this episode and some others are probably best watched after becoming familiar with the show's formula, even if not literally everything before it. That said, S4 and S5 are when things start getting particularly good, and those are pretty much fully serialized. Even in episodes where not much happens, having prior knowledge of the show would help comprehension I don't think it would necessarily be a good idea to react to random episodes, but I guess if they're from the first three seasons, that might be okay. I actually think Ephemeral (an episode from S4) handles this "what if" concept much better, so I'm surprised to see Cat Blanc so highly rated - I get it from the angle of being a main character akumatized, but still In any case, the show has its flaws and weirder aspects, but it's a very fun show in my opinion. Slice of life fused with superhero and magical girl elements, with romantic drama and secret identity shenanigans galore lol

For me, I liked the flow of Ephemeral more, particularly since it tackled the topic of Marinette reconciling her image of Adrien with that of Cat Noir. It took time, but she does still come around to it, and realizes they're two sides of one person I still like Cat Blanc a lot, especially by virtue of him being akumatized while transformed. I mainly didn't enjoy the events leading up to it, but the actual future battle was very good, and the back-and-forth had a satisfying flow go it as stuff became clear

There is a movie coming out on july 5 in france and in selected theatres . For others it will be released in netflix on july 28. Its called Ladybug and Cat Noir: The Movie. The movie is different from the show and is set in an alternate universe but the characters and concept is almost the same. The movie is directed by the producer of the series and it is his vision of the miraculous universe. Also it's a musical. Give it a go when you can.

Btw, Adrien didn't tell other people about Marinette's identity. Marinette still doesn't know Adrien is Cat Noir, so time travel lady covered it up. So, instead of Marinette thinking Cat Noir knows her identity, because he's Adrien, and saw her in his room. Now, she thinks Adrien told people, and somehow it spread to Cat Noir's ears too.

You missed one small detail - Adrian is Cat Noir. The "bunny girl" tries to make an excuse how Cat Noir found who Ladybug is because Ladybug mustn't know that Cat Noir and Adrian are the same person. :) So Adrian didn't tell anybody about Ladybug's identity.

Yes, Matthew, Plagg (the black cat thing) knows her secret identity. Also, due to guilt and isolation, I am 99% sure Cat went insane, so that might help explain his odd behavior. She was looking for the akuma in his STAFF. Marinette has a crush on Adrien and Cat Noir has a crush on Ladybug. They don't date because they don't know that the person they have feelings for is the other person in or out of costume. I hope this helps you understand what is going on.

So gabriele’s wife (adrien’s mother) ended up in a coma (or she’s dead af who knows) because she used a broken miraculous, so now Gabriele is trying to get ladybug’s and cat noir’s miraculous because they are the two most powerful and they’re supposed to grant ultimate power to those who use both at the same time (so I’m guessing the idea is he’s able to somehow realive his wife). Explanation for basically everything: Gabriel agreste’s wife, Emilie, died leaving adrien motherless. When Gabriel finds out that the 2 miraculous of ladybug and cat noir could be merged together to grant you a wish, he tried to find them. But if you make the wish it could have massive life changing consequences. He finds out that ladybug and chat noir can only be summoned in times of chaos, so he takes the butterfly miraculous. Butterfly miraculous: turns white butterflies into ‘akumas’. When someone feels negative emotions, hawk moth (Gabriel Agreste whilst wearing the miraculous) sends the Akuma to ‘akumatize’ the person feeling the negative emotions. Aka, make them evil. Then ladybug and cat noir do the epic battle stuff and use their cataclysm and lucky charm. Cataclysm: cat noir’s power. He summons it by saying ‘cataclysm’ and it can destroy any object he touches but he only has one go at using it, Lucky charm: ladybug’s power. She summons it by saying ‘lucky charm’ and it gives her an object that can help her win the battle. Powers: after use, they make ladybug and cat noir transform back after 5 mins. When the akuma evilises someone, it lands in an item of clothing (e.g watch, necklace). Once ladybug finds it and breaks it, the akuma will come out of it and ladybug mist capture it with her yo-yo. This ‘de-evilises’ it and turns it back to a normal butterfly The end of the very confusing plot of miracukous

Ladybug has a power called lucky charm and it gives her random objects she uses to defeat the akumatised villains. Gabriel (Adrien's father) never cared about his son, before Adrien got his miraculous he was homeschooled by his father and he never had friends until after he got the black cat miraculous. This show can get confusing and intense in some episodes. Marinette gained her crush on Adrien by him giving Marinette his umbrella. That bunny hero is the future version of the girl (Alix) who was skating around.

Adrien is Chat so he didn’t’ t tell anyone her identity. The reason Ladybug said “How did he find out?” Was because she didn’t know Adrien was chat so she didn’t know how chat knew she was Ladybug, and thus assumed he must’ve spilled the secret.
