Thats just one definition of abstinence. Abstinence means to obstain or not take part in something, it could be not having sex till marriage, not joining a certain group, or to stop doing drugs. Regardless, abstinence means to not take part in something, its not just about drugs. To abstain from something means to remove yourself from it or to not do it at all in the first place, just so you know.

I love that after orel speaks about how it feels wrong to be nice to others in their town because it’s scarily rare, he puts his own bitterness aside so that he can offer kindness to doughy instead of reminding him it was nighttime already. The sundial won’t work still and Orel knew that which is why he hesitates again at the end, but he also knew that it would make doughy happy and they ended up having fun on the way there anyway. There’s something so eerily human about that for a claymation show to me and I really like it ❤

Hens lay unfertilized eggs. Roosters fertilize the egg while and afterwords it laid and incubated and hatches to become a baby chick. Hens can lay eggs whenever they're ready but to make more the rooster has to fertilize them

For your egg question CeeAyeJay the egg needs to be fertilized by a rooster then be kept warm(probably by the hen), then after awhile(a couple weeks maybe? Idk) a chick will hatch from the egg. non-fertile eggs are safe for consumption idk about fertilized eggs(probably not). I’m glad you brought this episode to my attention so I could watch with you. I’ve watched the main show, but didn’t watch this cause I thought it was a complete knock off, not actually another episode. I like this ending so much better than the last episode. While the last episode was nice because it “book ended” / reflected the last episode of season one, and because it was part of the overall arch, I still like this ending more. What I saw in the last episode was just as much sadness and dispare as the ending of season two, except it had grown slightly angry, and a lot more numb (how Orel was feeling). But this ending… Orel finally was able to say it out loud. As someone who has gone through similar things as Orel (de/reconstruction of faith because bad adults teach bad morals), being able to talk out loud about it makes it so much better. But you can’t. Because your parents are hyper religious. Half your friends are hyper religious and the other half aren’t Christians. You’re in the middle of “too religious” and “not religious enough” where you have no one to turn to. But once Orel got it out, finally said it out loud what he was feeling, Doughy asked another stupid question. Orel could say “there’s no sun” like before, but he realizes that, even though he didn’t mean to, it kinda made Doughy sad. So instead of correcting him, he just went along with it. Orel has had to go through so much with family and de/reconstruction, but Doughy hasn’t. Doughy still has more child-likeness to him. And Orel can finally allow himself to not have the height of everything on him, and finally act like the child he is.

From what i understand chickens breed in a specific season and you can force a chicken into its breeding season by feeding it a lot of food. This is because its breeding season is tied directly to the time a plant in their region of origin would release its seed, giving the chicken an excess of food/energy that to could put towards creating more chicken. If it's fertilised beforehand then it become a chick, if not it is just a storebought egg.

if you want any other show recommendations, i totally recommend watching Don't Hug Me I'm Scared. there's two versions you can watch, the one that's on the YT channel and the actual TV show that was broadcasted on Channel 4 (the TV show is posted on YT too i think). it's a good watch and there's a lot of underlying lore that factors in to the show. i personally enjoy it for how silly but also psychologically horrific it can turn.
