I’m still in shock, after watching these videos now for years, that these “pastors”, have massive followings. They already know what the message will be. They could come to church, sit down, the pastor walk out and say “God has money in the world for YOU! YOU are special! Plant the biggest seed you can’t afford! Bro, I agree with you when it comes to prosperity preaching. I can be annoyed by that as well. But this is a part of a 4 part sermon. And the truth is when hearing his sermons they spoke to me weekly. To get to the point, I did not hear what you heard when hearing this, what I heard is that God is after our yes. Meaning surrendering to him, to help do his will. I agree, every one will not be rich, so at times I wish they will leave the financial aspect out of things (in some instances), because Gods promise are not just about money. But at the same time, if someone is listening to your pod, it comes off as if you are mocking him, and at the same time prideful. So one Is preaching prosperity, and the other prideful when looking at this podcast, do you feel as a person you are right as well?

I know Pastor Hannah and his wife. He started off doing radio. Trust me when I say that he was doing JUST FINE well before he became a pastor. If anything he LOST money when he began pastoring and traveling fully. Most of the money that he raises goes towards his community projects. ANYBODY in Chicago would tell you that. Hence why he is WELL respected in Chicago. You are just going based off of speculation and what you think without actually knowing the man. I’m usually on your side with most of this stuff but you said something I don’t necessarily agree with. You said “sometimes God is bringing you through some stuff” which makes it seem like you believe God sends trials. The Bible is pretty clear that it is our own doing. God ALLOWS such things but doesn’t send those trials. Living in our flesh causes that. This is a result of sin which came from who? Satan. So, I would say trials, our own stupidity, etc does come from the enemy. But God allows that to bring you closer to Him.
