im a hardcore fallout fan nv is my number 1 game so i thought i would hate 76 but honestly had a blast a couple years ago on it it honestly did alot of things better then fallout 4 in my opinion still love 4 though. but some things it did better was how dialogue works to overall quest writing even though its a lot more sparse, and i really like the blueprint system it makes a lot of sense from a immersion standpoint and just overall weapon variety feels much better and it has actual uniques the fixer is my fav so far.

It's strange to see how fallout becomes more and more like a theme park experience. There is good and bad I suppose, but one seems to have wider appeal.

Thing is I don't even think it's live service first-- this game's buggest issue is how noncommittal to one side or another it is. It wants to be that epic singleplayer experience but it also wants to kind of be an MMO so you get some strange scenarios like if you play with 4 people who are all trying to do a main quest together, you end up all having to either help each other 4 times doing the same exact quest because each run of it is instanced to the player completing it or do it all separately despite how difficult and not balanced for lone players it is. Really bizarre you can't just complete a main quest WITH another player.

nukes were still a very real thing when I played a year and a half ago or so. But you need a key to do them and gotta go through the bunker to set it off. It can be a hassle. Not sure if people hack to the end anymore.

You need a phd to learn everything about the game... you need to learn plans, buy plans, earn treasury notes, earn bullion, earn legendary cores and scrip, continually fix your gear and weapons, recharge your cores, random RNG legendary crafting means 99%of the crafts are useless. It has A LOT of grinding to it and if you just want to play the game for the story i recommend getting fallout 1st only for 2 things: unlimited junk stash but really just to create a CUSTOM WORLD... set everything to free and easy... save yourself 5000 hours of chasing your tail... just go do the missions and quests and not have to worry about the grinding or not being able to solo endgame the scortched beast queen at the endgame. Trust me there's a reason people are level 1000+ and still play this game.. it's not because it's amazing or Bethesda put out so much amazing free live content.. the fkn grind to get the things you want end game is insanely crazy long. Play the game.. clock the missions... and move on!

Ok so theres the excavator, wich boosts your carry weight to like 600 but you can only get it from a mission, there are 3 brotherhood armours, the hellcat, the x-01, some secret service one. Then as for just a new type of armour all together, you have yhe ultracite power armour wich takes on the appearance tof the t-51b but is a cool ass modern Desighn thats blue. How this helped :)

Not a 76 player, but I do like the way that you can loot all nearby corpses. As someone who absolutely has to hoover up as much loot as he can, having to go to each individual corpse after a big fight is very tedious after a while.

In the lore (pre Bethesda) the super mutant are a product of super soldier experimentation pre war o at least prototypes the nuclear fallout just make it worse the master didn't created jus unified them and make more

@MrRaheninm expanding on that, the FEV virus was only used by the master after being found post bomb drop, originally made by the enclave for super soldiers. The master only perfected the process and then mass produced them. It's based on pre war tech and research.

Pre Wastelanders this game was actual trash, I get what they wanted to do but it was poorly executed with the players filling the wasteland however player/server limitations made this basically impossible, big sandbox that needed NPCs and proper quest. After Wastelanders it was a lot better in that regard and they've done 19 major content updates since and probably the biggest since Wastelanders will be in June, the Skyline Valley update opening a new portion of the map with lots of new stuff to explore.

That's because he isn't using heavy gunner perk cards. Normally a 50 cal would one tap a Blood Eagle (enemy he was fighting). They're actually mega OP when you optimise them.

@@hikelfin5941 im talking about realism.. in fallout games they lower the damage of fast firing guns so they are not too op... but its the wrong thing to do... they should instead make them very heavy and use up a lot of AP or fatigue the player when using and have strength requirements.. or some mechanic like fo4s overheating minigun etc. lowering the damage of a 50 cal bullet is just ridiculous

@@tigrecito48 They do have some elements like that. For instance, if you don't have the right perks, that gun would break very quickly, and be quite costly to repair. But if you had made your perks more towards a heavy build, you would mitigate a lot of those things. They DO use a lot of AP, and DO come with weight issues, and there are perks to run faster with power armour holding a heavy weapon to be more stable when firing from the hip, to increase accuracy and decrease weapon sway. You have to max out Strength before a heavy build is good. Realism can't apply here, because they have fantasy legendary effects. Like Bloodied explosive 50 cal, where every bullet does grenade damage, and is more powerful the lower your health (Bloodied legendary trait).
