My character is close to level 500 and I think I've tried all of the builds, but my favourite is melee. I've seen a lot of new players in the game recently, and I always give them some health items, water, ammo etc to pay forward the kindness I was shown as a new player. I would suggest trying different builds to see what you like, use weight reducing perk cards and the most important thing is to have fun.

Also instead of clicking each quest individually in your Pip Boy you can just pick the quest you want on the map, and select it to track only that one. Nice and easy and allows you to follow the one you want and not have your screen spammed up leaving it clear for the other messages :)

Great video. ...crap, didn't know I could boost in the vault bedroom or I forgot. Also forget what level I was but I found out about the maps and watchtowers way to late as I had wander onto most of them already on foot. On my main I didn't use teams and barely went to events, and didn't use any serums until around level 150...progress was so slow. My alts have leveled at least 10X faster than when I was playing my main to the same level. With the contextual ammo I find cores, want to say about 1 in 10/15 enemies/ammo containers if I happen to be using my non-prime gatling laser. Shocked the first time I looted a scorched at the airport to find a normal fusion core at 100% charge. Another thing for new players you might be staring at your pipboy or vendor, if you hear alot of jumping, pipboy/headlamp being turn on and off, weapon fire near you, or emoting...look around because it might be another player trying to give you stuff. A good portion of the community would rather give stuff to other players at lower levels than ourselves instead of seeing the stuff rot or be destroyed. The Mothman event has dropping so many chems on me that I max my vendor caps on them almost.

Maybe it's just my luck is 14-15 but you do occasionally find fusion and plasma cores on enemies 2 when you use the associated weapon it works better with plasma cores but you do still get it occasionally with fusion

Enemies will drop plasma and fusion cores however they drop randomly.

I've never had them drop for me but I saw where others said they had them drop so I must just be really unlucky to find them. I know if Daily Ops and Expeditions you used to be able to get Ultracite and normal cores from completing them with that weapon out.

Thanks for the video Fargassier. Hey, on a different note, sorry to digress, but I saw a player in-game with the V63 Jet Pack attached to his PA. I tried talking to him in-game, to find out what PA he was using, but he didn't a microphone. I have raised a ticket with Bethesda & they advised that V63 Jet Pack is compatible with all PA's. I also advised, that a number of KZbinrs were having issues with the V63 Jet Pack & it wasn't showing as option to equip & I still haven't got a response to that question from Bethesda yet. Are you able to check again, if this is still an issue with the Skyline Valley Bundle?

Whatever that did exist with the V63 Jet Pack has been resolved, as I easily equipped the full V63 PA & the V63 Jet Pack to both my Excavator & X-01 PA's sets. I would like to thank you for all your help in the past with this issue. It would be good if you could spread the word as well, with regards to the V63 Jet Pack issue now being fixed. UPDATE: The V63 PA Chassis Display Stand has a glitch. When you connect power to it, the lights do work, but once you leave your C.A.M.P & then return to it, the lights do not work. I tried different Generators, same result. I ended up just adding a Studio Spotlight to shine onto it, which works well. I have contacted Bethesda & raised a ticket about this issue.

Having Fallout 1st is def. a convenient factor while playing so you can easily pick up everything without really having to worry about it. If you don't want to buy anything outside of the game then you can play it but it takes some working around that fact. So when you place a camp down near a spot that has a resource in your build radius or you take over a workshop you will see that under resources there is a resource gatherer there and can only be placed down on the resource. You then power it up and it will slowly gather materials for you.

Level 180 and never joined a team since I didn't want to be dead weight. Didn't realize you didn't have to do anything at all on casual. However... I run lone wanderer and use no PA at all. What do I do about losing that protection in a team?

So with that you could put cards on that have mitigation or try to get some legendary effects that help with damage reduction. I personally like Over Eaters and damage reduction while standing still. 🤘

Got the secret service armor, all legendary, no overeaters one aristocrat. Got iron clad. Got fire proof. Tried a team for the first time yesterday. It wasn't too bad without lone wanderer but I did notice a difference. I was pretty used to tanking scorchbeasts alone, but did find without lone wanderer they were busting me up a good deal more. Usually I can kind of ignore them. Not without that card.

Do public events make you use up all of your ammo and health? So u should prep for these moments?

It really depends on your build as to how much ammo you use and how many stims you have to use. Also, how much you are engaging in the events. I have a video coming out on Thursday showing off the weapon that I suggest folks to use at events to never really run out of ammo. I suggest preparing for events because you can never have too much ammo.

How exactly does the contextual ammo system work? How do I maximize it? I am often looking for energy ammo. Can I shoot all the enemies once with a lazer pistol and then kill them with melee to get that ammo type?

If you are looking to maximize the amount of energy ammo you get vs consume I would suggest getting a rifleman build setup and then also put on the science cards to boost the damage. Then that way with your sniper plasma/laser rifle you can maximize the amount of ammo you get with spending as little ammo as possible. If you finish the person with a melee weapon it is a random set of ammo that you will get, you must take them out with the weapon you want ammo for. 🤘 Hope that clears it up for you bud and let me know if you have any other questions.

I've done some testing if you pull out the weapon you wanted ammo for it used to give you the ammo for your equipped weapon but I think that got Changed when Atlantic City part 1 came out

How do I play missions with friends?

The story missions in 76 are solo but things like daily ops, events, expeditions, and exploring can be done with the team.

If you are in the US then the yearly option would probably be the best since it takes the cost down a lot. I def. love having 1st to let my loot goblin life thrive.

But you gotta worry about what cards you waste your points on right? I’m only level 19 but I’ve heard you can’t respec them? Which sucks! Cause I just picked random ones at the time to help with gameplay. Idk why KZbinrs don’t talk about this

While there is no respec of cards when you scrap them they get turned into Perk Points which are used to level up your legendary perk cards. You do have to worry about what cards you pick as you play but honestly there are no wrong choices in picking cards because if you pick the wrong card you can turn that into perk points for later usage. It really depends on what you are doing in the wasteland to how I would suggest you pick cards. If you are wanting to do some damage then I would focus on getting the level 1 cards associated with the main weapon(s) that you are using mixed with Inspirational that way if you are on a team you are gaining more XP. Also, high intelligence to get more XP from enemies. Let me know if you have any questions and I will gladly answer them.

You have to make sure to grab the pipboy first before you are able to exit the room 🤘

Sometimes you will get a server not responsive when you are about to exit the door. If you wait a little you should be able to interact with the door to get out. 🤘
