I have that Leadslingers 10 year old bourbon and you did the right thing passing on it. I bought on last year for around $50 and hands down it was the worst bourbon I tried last year and one the worst bourbons I have ever tasted. To me it smelled like an old Ocean Spray wild cherry drink pack that had been left out in the hot sun for about 3 days and it tasted just as nasty as it smelled. I tell people when they see it on the shelf to run away from it as fast as they can.

Penelope Architect is crap, but you’re a huge Crown Royal fan? Oookay.🤣 Architect is good stuff but $59 around here (KC area). Caribou is something you buy just to put the bottle on your shelf for display/enjoyment. I wouldn’t even bother opening it. The Yellowstone store pick, I found a 119 proof for $59 at Party Time in Greenville IN, and it’s delicious. Check that store out if you ever head to Louisville area. Holladay Soft Red is fantastic, made just up the road from me in Weston, MO. I’ve seen it priced as high as $59 at small stores, but Sam’s Club in Independence MO had it for $44 when I was in there the other day. Nice job on the video!

Turtle Creek is one of the best stores I've found in North Georgia and I've been to around 100 stores and counting. Only other comparable store I've been in is about half hour south of Atlanta in Locust Grove.

Caribou Crossing is Sazarac. Then it's shipped to Canada and sold. Look at the bottle......look familiar? Look at the cork.......Look familiar? Taste it.......taste familiar? There's a reason it resembles Blanton's.

The bottle is the same as Rock Hill Farms. Topper is similar to Blantons. That’s where the similarities end, IMO. It does not taste at all like a bourbon as it’s a Canadian whiskey. To me it’s just a smoother, thicker Crown Royal. Bottle is neat to have on the shelf, though!
