Frost mage has so much utility that if you time your spells and cd's properly, you can beat almost anyone but it has a high skill cap. Im trying to get better on my mage and your videos help me a lot.

The blink thing actually happens to me all the time and it doesn’t look like lag because there are still things going on but blink just won’t go off for a small amount of time but it ruins me a lot, you think it really is just lag?

I main ww monk. Frost mages can definitely outplay me if I use all my mobility too quickly. Utilize all your mobility. Keep the monk slowed at all times. Use defensives, poly, dragon breath, and nova when Xuen is out and bide your time until he’s gone. Monks cannot be slowed below 90% speed while Xuen is out (if they have the talent), so keep an eye on the pet and slow the monk as soon as he’s gone. Monks cannot do anything about alter time, nor can they do anything about ice block. Ice block cancels karma btw.

That is basically the arena format and thus people use los into their gameplay. Duels in open world are no different, if there is some object they can los with. Most of the trees in goldshire lack proper spell collision and makes them impractical to use as a pillar and reset fights.
