I doubt they will, given its uptime. The point of it is to punish training the mage without some counterplay. Normal barrier provides stronger damage mitigation, so there is a trade there for whoever picks the new one

haste lowers you global cooldown speed allowing you to string spells faster. crit is rly bad in pvp for mage

“you can frostfire bolt back to back to back for 2 million” WITH A CAST TIME OF 2 SECONDS which equals the same dps (1 million every second on average) as sunfury.

cast time of ffbolt is more around 0,8 sec with veins and slick ice

yeah but sunfury is about doing more dps with higher burst. you’re talking about comparing 2 million dps with ffbolt compared to 1 milli pyro, 1 milli meteorite, 1 milli meteor, 1 milli scorch proc + fire blast off the gcd. not gonna try to argue that sunfury is better than frostfire but it’s not nearly as bad as you make it out to be in the video. you’re playing it wrong.

everyone forgets you have to account for being able to press fire blast at the same time as pyro. that’s why pyro values are about 250k lower than other spells in the game. Pyro hitting for 750k means you can fire blast to get the 1 million, or even double fire blast for 1.25 mill.
