thank you for the explanation fishy! i am currently still using my g502 wired mouse for almost 7 years too and it has served me great, i have always loved the shape and feel of the g502, probably one of the best mouse out there! my friends always flame me for using a heavy as hell mouse for val, so i have been planning on upgrading to a wireless and lighter mouse. but buying a lighter mouse makes me afraid that it would make my aim shaky and uncontrollable (since i have a shaky arm), your thought on using the g502 for your daily routines and the lighter one for val definitely gave me a lot of insight to what would be like if i committed on buying a lighter mouse since im not playing val everyday lol, once again thanks for the video!

the shaky aim could be because of the mouse weight so you have to use more muscles resulting in less hand movement which leads to shakiness

It can be a bit annoying switching the mice around; I did end up going with a G502 wireless for a bit, it definitely was a QOL improvement + it did make my valo gunplay a bit better. I'm only trying the Lamzu for fun, I don't really enjoy its ergonomics and may or may not go back to the G502 wireless after this episode. I do think if you have shaky aim, the light mouse will amplify it.

A tip to still hire with bad internet. Try transcoding the videos to the lowest possible quality while maintaining some understanding of what's on screen and send that to the editor. Then ask them to give you the project file for you to render the video with your high quality videos locally. Just keep the transcoded videos and original ones the same exact name. Good luck!

same thing here, been using my 502 for like forever but then it kinda hurts my wrist when I play too much since it's so heavy, my friends are saying im literally practicing Kungfu at this point, I then switched to a glorious I2 wireless since its got the similar shape. Reduced my sens by a ton and now it felt great. I still love 502 tho.

had the same experience your describing moving from ime pro(around 100g) to deathadder v3 pro(65g). my aim and mouse control feels overall much less controlled but im able to move it faster for spray transfers and the like. ive found myself buying head shot guns less and going for more sprays as a result. it almost feels like i cant get straight flicks with it which i think is due to the shape, the thorn is very a similar shape to the DA so maybe you're experiencing the same thing. without the weight it feels like i get less real time feedback in my hand as to where the mouse is going and where it will land if that makes sense, theres less inertia to build muscle memory around. i think the shape is the root of the problem more so than the weight tho def interested to see how you feel about it after some more time. im still trying to get used to my deathadder. its been about 7-8 months and ive gotten much better with it but it still doesnt feel natural the way my old mouse did. rather than aim being effortless and instinctual, its like im constantly having to consciously micromanage my mouse movements. when i give my old mouse a go again my movements start to feel natural again right away. going to try the viper v3 hyperspeed soon as it seems like it might be the perfect middle ground of weight shape and sensor position for me

@@gluggy Aim is not muscle memory it is simply hand eye coordination and mouse control, I have around 3 mice and I perform close enough with each of them despite their drastically different weights and sizes. the mice in question being hsk pro ace 25 ish grams , hsk plus 38 ish grams and a old g703 wireless idk prob 90 ish grams

@@kyroslangen618 tracking no but things like flicking are in my opinion 100% muscle memory, idk about you but when i change my sensitivity i can get used to tracking way faster and with more ease than flicking, which is why i think tracking is mouse control and flicking is muscle memory, i can replicate this by being able to back to my old g502 that i havent used in years and still being able to track things, but not flick, i am also extremely biased and i use flicking to aim 90% of the time so for me that coorelates to "big mouse change = no muscle memory = bad aim for a while". I will say i have not used something nearly as light as an hsk (ive went from 120g to 66g to 55g)

The lighter mouse is easier to move therefore harder to do more accurate movement and micro movements. The heavier mouse can do it better because its harder to move but unlike the lighter mouse its harder to move rapidly and alot because it is heavy making spray control harder. Also had to bring down the sens because again the lighter mouse is easier to move and makes it more sensitive. This is also why i dont really get the lightweight trend and such because having a heavier mouse that is easy to micro adjust with feels alot better.

Maybe its more of a high sens low sens thing because the heavier the mouse is the better it seems for high sens because you do smaller movements and it being heavier help doing smaller movements because it resists much more. While for light mouses this is the opposite

You like heavy mice because you have bad hand control. People generally aim far better when your hand and wrist are relaxed. Heavy mice make you tense up harder to flick faster which is detrimental to your aim and tiring in long sessions (also bad for your aim). Lighter mice are easy to move around (less fatigue = consistent aim) and allow you to use a lower sensitivity while maintaining the same speed (more consistent than heavy mice + high sens). I think the process of learning to relax your hand getting used to lighter mice teaches you how to be calmer in gunfights as well. Also I do get where you're coming from - I used to think heavy mice were better before I learned how to control my mouse properly. Top 100 radiant btw

From what I know Heavy mice = higher dpi/sense Lighter mice = Lower Dpi/sense Of course you can play on 1600 dpi for best latency and change sensitivity accordingly Though the benefit between both types of mice are obscured once you get use to either of them Why the g502 of family is still popular even till this day considering it’s a heavy mice living in the age of light mice.
