You can add fragrance to the wax and it's like an air freshener. They were popular baby gifts w/ baby powder scent a few years back.

Good morning Pretty Tessie ❤ We have had weird weather too but nothing that hot lol. 50's to 80 and lots of rain! My husband is rebuilding an outbuilding and turning it into a she-shed for me but with all this rain it is going to take forever to get it down. We found a really nice wood door left on our back porch (Our house came with lots of stuff) and some windows. and we were able to purchase 5 windows at the restore for $38 which was a huge blessing! I am going to use it to put all my pretty things in that can't be put out in the house because of hubby and the animals lol. They tend to break my things and get them dirty! Like my white throw blankets and comforter lol! Also when the 150 lb dog chases the cat inside the house when they are playing sometimes my things get knocked over. I just want a quiet place to go to read a book lol!

Can't get over just how cheap the thrift store is that you go to. Here in Australia our thrift/charity shops are so expensive, sometimes especially clothing can be more than the regular shops, it's crazy!. Used to love trying to find that little something that was different but now its almost impossible!😔

He can keep you company while you do your crafting and keep all his little ties and his change of clothes in his basket .. or find some plastic fruit for him to carry or even some smell good wood sticks that you can cut to fit his basket... I'm so excited to see when you change his alfits... Find him a small straw hat or he could be a girl near and put pretty little aprons on her...

What a happy video! That bear definitely brought $3.00 of happy to the world today. Much more, I'd wager. Loved the juggling act at the beginning of the video. Can't call what you do "junking" when everything is in great shape and useful. We have baskets like the bear has and ours is for keys, especially little gate keys, extra keys etc. Looks like your basket had a paper pad and a pen holder on it. Love those little baskets. They bring their own "happy" to a room.

I think it's a good idea. If I dipped something like that in wax it'd probably come out lookin all snarled or something. I made apple pie bread today and Oh my it was so delicious! We're going to be doing a re-enactment in Verona, Mo. Pioneer style! Right up my alley!! I have to find old looking boots for that period and maybe a white shirt. I'm really excited! It's an opportunity to spread the gospel and meet some new people who love history.

"FREE OR CHEAP" is my motto! Seems like you are starting to collect a lot of things again.( I hope not) My grandmother always used a pastry cloth when she made her pie dough and always scraped it with a metal spatula to remove any dough bits or excess flour( she said so it will not get bugs!) She never washed it! She had it all my life! The bear looks like a "seasonal" bear, dressing up for different occasions or jobs!😊❤🧸
