I didn't know you were supposed to blanch spinach lol! I freeze it all the time in the package it comes in and then use it in any soup or pasta recipe. It works for anything you don't need fresh spinach for.

Good morning Tessie and friends. Happy Mother's Day to you all. Tessie I love that you found all those bargains. What store did you go to? Love the tip on the herbs as well. If I might ask for you and your followers to please pray for my oldest Son Scott. 45 years old with wife and three children. He had a stroke in his carotid artery in his brain a couple weeks ago and is having short term memory loss as well as speech problems. He recently found out he totally lost his peripheral vision on the right side of both his eyes. They say his eyesight might improve a little but that normally it doesn't get better. He is receiving physical and speech therapy. Thank God that his wife has a job working from their home. Thanks and have a blessed day friend

Good morning pretty lady ❤I am using this holiday morning to get caught up! We have an end cap at our local grocery and various areas in the store for perishable mark downs! Last friday we got some containers of white corn meal for $1 a container. 2 packages of flour tortillas for .50 cents each. 2 suddenly salads for $1 each and two packages of dried dates for $1 each. The dates are good for sweetening oat milk, and almond milk naturally.

Hi, Tessie. Also, if you life in an area where storms might force occasional evacuations, it is useful for telling if the power has gone out long enough for the frozen food to thaw. Freeze jar sideways, then turn it upright and put near the door. If it melts and then refreezes, it will be obvious. Has helped my family to avoid throwing away a full freezer of food. It is one of those things that you don't have to do but if you want to keep it in the freezer for more than 6 months if you blend it it will keep an nice green color
