We live in Northern Ireland and really enjoyed your video. If you liked Portstewart Strand you should have stopped off at Benone Beach which is only a few miles up the road in the direction of Derry/Londonderry. You get a spectacular beach that you can wildcamp on AND a waterfall as a backdrop. What more could you ask for! Got your Ireland book for this years adventures outside the 6 counties!

Great wee start. Would highly recommend Mussenden Temple and Downhill Demense. Also I know you mentioned Ballycastle being busy when you were there but a visit to Pans Rock is a must. Oh and also the Lost Village of Galboly should be visited also. Sorry to go on and I know I’m biased but it’s a seriously good road trip. I just love it. Oh and don’t forget Waterfoot Beach next time also. Ok I’ll stop now. Looking forward to the next episode 👏👏

Thanks🙏Most places they were allowed but a couple of locations such as the Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge and Giants Causeway would have left me struggling to look after them whilst recording and doing my own exploring 👍😀

The causeway route is hardly unknown.The WAW is a republic initiative by Failte they have of course no jurisdiction to promote the causeway route.Northern Ireland Tourism is responsible for promoting the route.However there is a cross border initiative to make it part of the WAW thats probably a few years away though.Not really comparing like it like anyways the WAW is much longer,the ring of kerry is a better comparison to the causeway route.Counter intituitively the causeway and carick a rede probably take the shine away from it rather than the opposite

Most people I’ve spoken to about the route had no idea it existed, I’ve had a lot of messages on social media also asking about the route, where as, they’d all heard of the WAW. That’s where my basis of the ‘unknown’ road trip has come from.
