A few points to remember the boat leaves at 16.30 hrs Zambian time but you must be available to board at 16.10 hrs. Its actually $75 per person. There is also a Safari fee of $2 for Zambians/residents and $5 for non residents.

The first time riding on the Makumbi boat, I was on a school trip in the 80s. Livingstone Primary school a very long time ago. Still remember how excited I was then, it was fun.

Lovely video Lily. The only disappionting thing is that it was mostly tourists. Where are the our local Zambians? Don't we like doing such things? I went on the makumbi boat way back in 1995 and I'll never forget the experience. It would have been nice to see a few locals also enjoying mwe. 🇿🇲🇿🇲🇿🇲🇿🇲🇿🇲

But hold on Lilly in that boat you have 98% white ppl but just yourself cameraman n the crew but this suppose to be africa again this will only boast foreign cash flow into the tourism industry, but the Zambians should come out more and enjoy their country that’s my take here. If this was to be Nigeria u have more Nigerians to the tune of 90% on that boat... anyway good for u guys...peace
