Man, its gonna be weird to not see Pete Rose at shows anymore. I actually had a conversation with him while he was signing in a Cleveland card show about 10 years ago. Not only was he receptive about speaking with me, but he actually was encouraging people to stop and talk with him. He told me, and a couple other people, that he fly to both coasts 3 or 4 times a month to do shows, speeches, or appearances. Such an incredible man. R.I.P. Pete...🙏

Rip Pete man he was my parents favorite player growing up. There is no one who is more Cincinnati than Pete rose. I’ve heard so many great things about him since his passing. Wish he could’ve been alive to see himself get in the hall😔

Probably an unpopular opinion: I don’t think he should be reinstated. He agreed to a lifetime ban (I think). I get regretting it, but it’s a lifelong ban. I don’t know the whole story as I was too young, but I’m open to having my mind changed. If anybody has a link that tells the whole story, please reply with it and I’ll read it.

I've done quite well with my Topps Now purchases this summer, pulled 2 different Jarren Duran purples, a purple and a blue Eugenio Suarez dbacks card (super low print run) and an orange #/5 soccer card. That said, if its a high print run card and you're not trying to pull a parallel, I'd recommend picking it up on ebay to save a few bucks within a day or so of the card closing

I was able to get the 1/1 on 2 of the Ohtani releases for 2024 so far. Haven't had much luck on the recent ohtani cards since he broke the record and the print run on his cards are through the roof.

I think they are changing the way parallels work. I dont think they will be an extra card anymore. Last two cards i ordered the page said that parallels will REPLACE a base card.

Insane how much a print run makes a difference. I got one Javier Sanoja card for first Marlin with an RBI in his first at bat. I got a blue parallel /49. 🤷🏻‍♂️

1:116 odds for a 10,479 PR (Card 667)(90 Total Parallels). You more than cut the odds in half by ordering 75 cards. You had about a 65% chance of pulling a parallel. Congrats on another one!

The one you missed on had a PR of 6,558. The odds for hitting were 1:73 so you had a 68% chance to hit on that one.

I've noticed a lot of these Topps Now cards have surface scuffs on them and print lines on the backs. Does anyone know if you can contact Topps to get credit for them? I looked at the Shohei 50/50 and so many of the glossy cards have scratches in the gloss. Really disappointing
