Id never thought about paste float on the rod, got a pole, but like you i find it a faff when targeting carp. I'll give it go in next weekend...Paste is deadly in the warmer months. I've use special G ground bait, but Sonus have realesed one purposely for maki g paste. Thanks for sharing....

Paste and hemp ,top combination ( no need for owt special) i just use cheap and cheerful pellets and the secret ( Scopex drizzle) on the pellets.💥👍🦉

Absolutely beautiful paste fishing love it big lad , can’t go wrong making paste out of groundbait, my favourite method , I use marine halibut or if I want red I use krill 👍

I too like rod and reel, pole has it's advantage in some cases don't get me wrong 🙂 but for a lot of people who fished farm ponds and pits etc thats wear child hood memories wear made ( RIVERS TO) IF you lived near one 😅
