I have not forgotten about this one Tim. Good to see you again. I will be back to recap after I watch the whole video. I wanted to see or hear how you liked Foundation~ Rob/Boston

Foundation has been good to me over the years. Great shop for records and conversation.

I did see that David Gilmour Tour at the Orpheum in Boston. It was cool to see David playing in a small theater. His guitar sounded incredible there. After seeing Pink Floyd at Boston Garden in 1977 and the Wall show at Nassau Coliseum in 1980. The Gilmour show was great and all. But not as good as the two Floyd shows. The same went got Waters 'Radio KAOS' show. Good but not great. There was nothing that compared to seeing Floyd in the seventies through The Wall Tour. I never heard Cyclone by TD. You know your Tang Dream a lot more than I do. So I will surely check that out. Thanks Tim. Always good to hang with you. Have a super weekend~ Rob/Boston

Never saw Gilmour solo, but did see the Momentary Lapse of Reason tour. Was fantastic. Still need to try to see Waters. Those two really created incredible music together, even if these days they don't see eye to eye anymore. I get all my TD knowledge from Bill @thevinylverse. Talk about a super fan ;) Cyclone is worth a listen for side 2, but I enjoyed it overall.

Hello 🧔♂Tim; UTFO hip hopin, bip bopin, Jimi's Smash Hits have weathered the storm. Fever Tree relegated to opening band status. Roberta Flack saw her perform in the early 70's. Small Faces on Pride ( MGM ) reissue of Decca tracks pre Immediate, may be different mixes. David Gilmour's About Face for the Floyd completists. Tull's Passion Play & ELP's Tarkus good LP's. Nice shoutout to Calif. & a cameo from the 👱♂Big'' O'' Take Care. 🙎♀Tina & 🙎♂Pat!~

Hi Tina! Hi Pat! Hope you both are well! Thanks for the info on the Small Faces, I didn't research it that much yet, so that sheds some light on the mixes. I need to spend a little more time with it, not that it's bad, but it clearly isn't their work they are most known for. Hard to go wrong with ELP or Tull. Both strong releases. More of Big O coming in the next installment. ;) I tell ya, it really is his channel. Take care friends!

Those are some awesome prices. I’ve been looking for a clean copy of Roberta Flack. They always seem to be pretty beat up. Great haul.

The older soul/r'n'b records are always tough to find clean. Either they were well loved and played, or kids raided their parents records during the early hip hop days and beat the snot out of them (I was in that 2nd group for sure). I definitely will keep my eyes open for you!

I think their was a high quality reissue on that Robert Flack at the beginning of the year. Can’t think who put it out Agree with FYC album, only one you need. Agree on Gilmour, his first solo album was better. That one you showed had an 80s sheen to it. Great Tull album. Nice stack of wax.

I am going to have to look into that Steve. Soul to me is like jazz, I need cleaner vinyl for those moments where the passages are softer. Roberta Flack often focused on her playing so if there is too much surface noise it is a distraction.
