Regarding the turn timer thing, feels like something they could enable at a certain ELO threshold or remaining players? Especially in duos, feels kinda bad having a 4 second turn

Sure does. Getting punished because beasts or undead are being played is also a poor casual experience.

I've had a duos turn be 20 seconds long in late game because of opponent's running beasts. It feels pretty bad

At 16:30 I have been wanting blizzard to change it to a ready up button while also implementing a timer. That way no one is rushed but if everyone is done then the timer can be skipped. Win Win.

Shady. Just a response to 15.10. A different smell can also be from normal to golden. So u using normal shilivaz spell and golden shilivaz counts as two different spells

For the turn duration, just make it so once someone starts their turn, you can skip combat and play your turn too. If you're dead then you don't have to live through animation hell and if you're alive you get to actually play a turn. It feels so bad playing into beasts right now just because of all the animations. As someone else proposed in some other comment chain, disabling animations could be a viable option too, casual players who don't care could sit through them if they want.

it is smart the way they handle battle, but they need to not make one tribe be so long ingame battle that the enemy gets no shop time after.

17:10 it's simple, bliz has to invest in a new game engine (since HS is 10yrs old now) or just create a separate one for BG BUT they want/need more money so they just shove BG inside HS and create skins/expansion

@@radionromanright now the mmr is bugged. if you die to ghost, the same time as the last 2 fight and one dies, its splits the mmr between all 3 of you instead of the 1 who is alive

There's a simple solution to making people wait. Just let people observe the boards in combat if yours is finished.

Only problem is this fundamentally changes the game as currently you play semi blind to others boards and this would kind of punish you for having a long fight as your next opponent can then position around your units
