Nice video!!! You captured the essence of the festival that day. Next Sinulog 2026, visit the Basilica Minore del Sto. Niño de Cebu and attend the Fiesta Señor activities like the mass. The church is where you can find the core of the Sinulog celebration, the feast of Sto Niño de Cebu. It will be also full with people just like the Grand Parade. FYI: Sinulog Grand Parade focuses more on cultural heritage of the festival while Fiesta Señor in the Basilica mainly focuses on the religious aspect of the festival, try to visit the Basilica next year. Sinulog 2025 was INSANE! 😄😘😍 with total Forty-four contingents, the energy was electric, the street dancing a blur of vibrant color and pounding rhythm. I felt like I was going to burst from the sheer excitement! Let's just say it was the most epic finale on your video to an already unforgettable day. 🎉If you'd stayed longer there were huge fireworks display at the end, and people were having street party such as making friends, dancing with random people, drinking until their body drops. 😂😂 I totally got with your breathless experience. 😂 My first Sinulog in 2010 was exactly the same! That human traffic is something else! 😂😂😂 But seriously, it's part of the magic and you'll get used to it since after 2010 up to current, I still join the Sinulog Festival HAHA. ✨( excluded when pandemic kicked in 2021 and 2022). I understand it was your first time and had no idea how long it would be. Indeed, it was overwhelming experience. 😂😂😂 Glad you got to experience it. Sinulog is the grandest festival in the Philippines. Looking forward to your next Cebu vlog! Yeah it was absolutely insane 44 contingents entered Wow! Remember when it was held at SRP the number of contingents were not even half of that. That just shows that people are very happy that Mayor Garcia decided to put the Sinulog festival back in it's original route.

Dancing Sinulog is also a way of praying. Many of Cebuanos and practicing Catholics are there to dance and pray. It has been proven by many that their prayers have been answered through Sinulog. Attending Sinulog especially attending and completing the masses. Many dancers in the Sinulog festival is there as a form of petition or request to Santo ninyo, and many are performing as a tribute of thanks for the blessings received. I hoped you danced with faith that day for your wishes. Some say the trick there is just follow the route of the dancers, go where you want to see the performances, take pictures, talk to them. And figure out going home Later🎉 Pit senyor!

The Sto Nino de Cebu is one of the only 3 venerated infant jesus icons of the Catholic faith by the Vatican along with infant jesus of Prague and Sto Nino de Atocha in Spain. Sto Nino de Cebu is of flemish origin and was sculpted by a flemish (part of modern Netherlands and Belgium) under the vision of Saint Teresa of Avila. A Replica of the Sto Nino was gifted by the province of Cebu to celebrate 500 years of christianity to Spain to commemorate its return, it is now enshrined in Barcelonas most famous Church still under construction for many centuries ( The Sagrada Familia )

I saw u on ur other vlog with the tranlaccion of Black Nazarene in Quiapo Manila; that was dangerous indeed while u were on the wall, what if there was stampede... It's different in Cebu. Yes, it's still crowded but manageable, isn't it? Our activities do no focus only on one day but series of activities like kickoff parade of students, Sugat, Fluvial, & Main event or culminating event on 3rd Sunday of January every year!!!! Sinulog is not just a festival but historical. In 1521 in Cebu City, this is where Christianity started then spread all over the Philippines!!!!

I have watched this Sinulog festival many times in the past. To ME, this is the LONGEST, MOST ELABORATE and LARGEST parade in the whole wide world. This is FYI for your world wide followers.

Yup this is a record breaker a total of 44 contingents entered, Wow! that's Huge. That really shows that the people are very happy that Mayor Garcia decided to put the Sinulog festival in it's original route and not at the SRP anymore.

Sinulog is more than just the festival itself.... It is a reminder of a bigger picture in history as a tip of an iceberg.... To all the other phil. History to all the places in the phils. Until now.... It is always expressing the Roman Catholic aspect a religion of what the filipinos majority...has... Cebu is the gateway of all the history of the christianity in the phils. Even in the pacific asia region.

No worries there is always next year, This is an annual Festival of SUGBU and very much part of the Sugbuano culture & tradition, the SUGBU SINULOG will only get bigger and bigger every year. 44 contingents entered this year 2025. Wow! that's huge.

thats the real disorganize unlike if its held in South Road Properties near SM Seaside last year the last 2 years coz the area is wide and big can accomodate large number of ppl and cannot cause traffic in the downtown area and will not be affected the only problem there is the heat of the sun.

Yeah it was so hot so people drank a lot of water! I threw mine away but if you dropped something it was impossible to pick it up. I saw some sunglasses and things sometimes and which was sad. Thanks for watching!
