The Akita reminded me of Holo the Wise Wolf from my favorite anime/light novel series 狼と香辛料. Holo, despite being a wolf spirit, and goddess of the wheat harvest, loves apples more than any other food. The Wise Wolf Holo would have very much enjoyed all the apple juice and apple pie. Thank you for taking us along to some very beautiful Northern Prefectures.

This post has some good memories for me, we had Akitas and they get quite large 40-55 kilos (90-120 pounds) and like Yuka, my mom would lie next to one of them and they were bigger than her..They are wonderful and loyal companions. Yuka's adventures are like a warm cloud wrapped around us!

Thanks Yuka, as always, a very amusing tour. I ran across another Yuka recently by accident. She also has a touring channel and the episode I watched - she took all us watchers to cat island. I think you took all of us to cat island once ages ago. She’s awfully cute and funny but not quite as cute, laugh out loud funny and engaging as you. 今年の４月に行った弘前城桜まつりは日本一別格の別格にすごかった。旅サラダの中継と同じ日で満開でした。弘前見たらもうほかへはいけません！　弘前城、津軽藩ねぷた村、藤田庭園、弘前はたくさん歴史的建物や洋館があるのでゆっくり滞在したいですね。
