To keep the sizes equal I would separate the rice into portions. The same for patties or desserts. Besides furukake I would use bonito flakes. Yuka, enjoyed the fun time cooking class

You always make us smile, and this time I laughed out loud many times 👍🤣 Thanks for such a fun lesson! I want to make the tunamayo onigiri, but I'm not sure about the rice. Yuka-chan, do you cook the rice with vinegar, similar to cooking rice for sushi? 🤔 Thanks for any advice! 🙏
@yutin_jp5 ай бұрын
Thank you Sp Too😆 When making onigiri, you generally don't use vinegared rice! I recommend adding a little salt to the cooked rice before making rice balls🍙

It’s more difficult than expected. Still looks delicious. Japanese rice tastes the best! I could tell the difference the first time I visited Japan. The rice they sell in supermarkets in Hawaii (for a reasonable price) is mainly grown in California. Better than before (many now use Koshihikari) but not as good as Japan. By the way, your new hairstyle is very cute! Matches your face shape well!
