Wow that looks great.... $240,000 😶😓 If it was like $80,000 then that would be good. The point of pre-fab is to get something nice for less.

Awesome looking place ,but I apologize for complaining but I thought tiny homes were supposed to be affordable this 600 Sq foot cost as much as regular 1500 beginning homes in sw ga.i thought the whole movement was/ is to be debt free/ lower footprint. .I admit this very nice tho a fan seems boxable, rhombus and dwell give best bang for the buck 😅

Although nice, the companies making these tiny homes have lost sight of their true purpose. AFFORDABILITY I don't see the point of paying almost the same price as a normal-sized house, for a tiny home. If anything, these tiny homes are very expensive for what they offer and are not a good buy when compared to a normal-sized house. I think the true market for these homes is for those with plenty of money who want a little getaway cabin,

@@UnexpectedInquisition guess for LA it's affordable: most everywhere else it's not? After you add in all the other fees (land, permits, sewer, transport, water, electricity...) you'd be over the top of family homes here. Great design, layout, though a 2nd sleeping area would be nice. I’m still miffed as to why tiny home builders are not utilizing tankless water heaters 🤦🏻‍♂️. And have you agree with prior comments- $400 sq ft, really? If pre-fab, controlled manufacturing and production is so efficient then the cost would be $200 sq ft. JMO . I have watched many of your videos and I keep asking myself; wouldn't be very usefull to the viewers, if Kerry would get himself a measurring tape (digital one) and instead of just informing the viewers about the total square footage, he would also mention the width and lenght of the building (or show a simple drawing with measurments). I am sure that would help many people who like to build their own units as a DIY or their location is far away in order to purchase one.

Kerry. I am not impress with the way the beams are tired together. Giving it a warehouse look. I am not a big fan of visible metal straps and the exposing bolts bring the open beams together. Giving it a industrial appearance. White kitchen cabinets and counter top and white island! To sterilize looking. Cold looking. It lacks warmth and texture. The fire place could of been place on the wall facing toward the large front window. Enjoying a fire place in the kitchen? I have a eye for detail. My recommendation, go back to the drawing table and rethinks some of the things I mentioned. Kerry you would of made a good Ford Edsel salesman. I like the windows, and the ceiling high. the front is okay. The medal plates with the bolts sticking out, needs to go.

Well intelligent people buy prefabs from china that are modern, customizable, unique, well built and cost $12000 for 400sf or $18000 for 800 sf models with kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and only need 4 people to put in a a day. Add land cost, eco toilet, water catchment, some excavating, 5kwt solar and propane tank and you are set for under 80k in most rural area. Other awesome and popular styles are Apple house and Space pods. US made tiny homes are insanely expensive and out of touch with reality on the ground. My customers want "AFFORDABILITY" first, bling second.

First: Seniors cannot use Adirondack chairs. We cnnot get out of them nor can the unfit young. A slatted wood bench would look much better. LOTS of mistakes in thekitchen. Lower cabinets with doors instead of drawers are so last century! Its C”HEAP! The pantry is deep, so it MUST have drawers, not deep shelves! So much gets lost because you cannot seeit or reach it easily. Where those folding chairs are - PUT IN A DRAWER BANK!!! If not for storage, then make them for holding trash and recycling bins! On the outside of the island, make an overhang for tall stools to sit on! Or add a lower shelf for dining! What a horrible waste of needed storage space they built! I would eliminate at least one of those windows and make the remaining one half as tall. No one is going to sit ther and stare at the “view” 24/7 for years on end, which no one can see at all at night. Those windows are going to get sogreasy from cooking and who needs all that to clean? Is there even a vent in the kitchen? The wondows also elimnate wall space for needed for furniture! Large hot water tanks are also last century when on-demand tanks are efficient and SO much less expensive to operate! (Hot tubs are a ridiculous waste of money and fuel, Kerry.) I pass on this house.

It doesn't seem like you can properly set up furniture or hang pictures. The wood burning stove is in a odd place. The design doesn't work for me. The shower is nice. Don't like the cold stark white. Would have liked to see this house set up with furniture.

This is really a great look but $400 sq ft?? I have a hard time with that price point when a stick built home of comperable quality is closer to $200/sq for a slab on grade home. Building is not rocket science and 2X the price is a non starter for convenience alone. Also, teh footprint of the one bedroom and no Washer dryer and fewer windows all are red flags for me.? Net, builders used to talk about the affordability of modular and then they lost their souls to greed and inflation. While everyone is entitled to make a fair and good profit, this busines seems to be off in terms of their pricing. Competition, increasing manufacturing automation, reduction in material and energy costs are all going to result in massive price competition. Net, they have a very good product based on the optics but the value seems to be not where it needs to be to scale.

STILL LUCRATIVE, AND IM TELLING YOU NOW THE RIGHT THING TO DO SINCE I WAS IN PART RESPONSIBLE FOR THE IDEA AND HELP TO MAKE IT HAPPEN! I WANT A PERCENTAGE! OK, SO NOW ABOUT THIS HOME AND MANY OTHERS LIKE IT! I REALLY LIKE THE DESIGNS IN GENERAL, NOT JUST FROM THIS COMPANY, BUT OF SEVERAL OTHER COMPANIES TOO. MY BIGGEST CONCERNS ARE TWO MAIN THINGS THAT ALWAYS STICK OUT WHENEVER I SEE THESE VIDEOS AND HOMES. 1- IS THE "STERILENESS" MOST OF THEM HAVE! THEY DONT LOOK LIKE "HOMES". THEY LOOK LIKE STERILE OFFICES OR MEDICAL SPACES. THERE HAS TO BE TOUCHES THROUGHOUT THE DESIGN THAT CREATE A "HOMEY VIBE" I FEEL.. 2- AND PROBABLY THE MOST CONCERNING OF THE TWO, IS ALL OF THESE BIG WINDOWS! WHAT ABOUT SAFETY? IF THERE WERE EVER A SMALL TEAM OF HOME INVADERS WORKING IN AREAS WHERE THESE HOMES ARE? IT WOULD BE VERY EASY TO GET INTO THE HOUSE THROUGH ALL OF THESE BIG WINDOWS! AND LOOK AT THIS LOCATION HERE!!! THERE IS JUST NO ONE IN SIGHT!!! THIS IS NOT A SMART OR SAFE HOME BUILD! THE REALITY IS, RIGHTNOW IN 2024 ALL CRIME AND PARTICULARLY HOME INVASIONS ARE ON THE INCREASE! HAVING THESE WINDOWS IS JUST HAVING THE HOME OWNERS ASKING FOR ALL KINDS OF POSSIBLE BAD SITUATIONS TO HAPPEN! SO SOMETHING FOR BUYERS AND BUILDERS TO RECONSIDER! ....... GOOD VIDEO KENNY! ALL THE BEST ~ ( AND SERIOUSLY! DONT FORGET TO GET IN TOUCH WITH ME IF YOU GET YOUR OWN DYI SERIES! ) I NEED THE MONEY!

Beautiful presentation. Ludicrous price. I understand it's expensive to start up, but the first hundred customers should not have to foot the entire bill.
