In Korea, we have cafes where they have unique animals that you can hang out with called animal cafes. Today, I'll visit some animal cafes to hang out with all kinds of different animals!

Thank you for the critical undertone Jimmy. Sadly most/all of these animal cafés feature maladjusted animals due to small enclosures and exposure to people all day. If you ever feel the need to see animals, please consider Kara adoption café between 망원 and 홍대. It's a great animal rights organization that does a lot of things right imo :)

The cat cafe definitely looked the best in terms of the welfare of the animals. The other places looked mixed, like some were trying but the animals were looking depressed and stressed. At least the cats looked healthy and happy.

The cat café seemed great but the rest of them were in spaces that were way too small and did not have enough mental stimulation activities. Thank you for showing a more reality based view of these animal cafes in cities. I like your smart, dry humor.

It does make me sad to see wild animals in those settings- cats on the other hand can flourish indoors if they have their needs met. I really hope the goats and alpaca get some outdoor time

I feel like a lot of exotic animal cafes really don't take care of the animals as well as they should. The cat cafes and pet adoption cafes are usually the best ones.

Thank you for this video. I was wondering if I was missing out since I love animals, but I guess I rather see them in other places than cafes. Also btw, I think your alpaca is and llama (I only learned to distinguish between them since I prefer to spin alpaca wool). The thing that made me like 99.99% sure was when you said, spit. Llamas spit for any reason, "too slow to give food", "bored", "territory", "didn't like humans" etc.

It's sad, the snake can't stretch its body. I am happy that in that place they do not have dogs or cats in cages. How are they going to tell you to push the animal to enter the room? For me, this place does not have adequate facilities for each species. The lonely state of the alpaca makes me cry.

theres a lot of places in jeju with more open outdoor farms you can go to and play with the animals. i went to a place where you can play with sheep but i spent most of my time in the cafe playing with this cat

Personally these cafes are a mixed bag for me. Just like any place with animal enclosures, they should be big enough and have enough things to make the animals happy. Small rooms or enclosures with tile floors are not the right environment for most animals. I also wonder if they have a vet visit/take them to a vet to get them the proper care. Also certain animals just aren't domesticatable. I don't think they should completely do away with animal cafes, but I think the smartest ones are the cat/dog cafes that work to adopt them out.
