It was so strange seeing Ludwig in person and not even knowing he was in Australia. Just walked randomly on the city street with a group of mates planning to get hammered, and then l see garnt, conor and Ludwig. Literally my jaw dropped and l was in awe the entire night not believing l was watching a trash taste ep in the morning and then randomly meeting them at night when l thought they were still in America.

THOUSANDS of years ago, was still the dreamtime, when only the indigenous people even knew Australia existed. it was only in the 1770s did Captain Cook happen to sail into the side of it. Which was only 300-ish years ago. Just saying NO ONE went to Australia in 700AD. and if you did, you were a British hero for discovering a new land with new mining resources and human resources to dominate and oppress. Australia is quite a young country. We still export a fair bit of mined coal and metals too.

I had a very very similar experience flying from Fukuoka to Tokyo. Showed up an hour before my flight to leave. Prepaid for my ticket. Jetstar never received payment. Argued with my travel agency. Decided to just buy new tickets. The desk lady’s escorted me through security. I got first class upgrade for free. It was a good experience but a very stressful one. I did get reimbursed.

I mean that sounds like exactly the intended use of Business Class tickets to be honest. It allowed you to get proper sleep on the plane during your travels so you didn't arrive into Australia absolutely exhausted and didn't need extra days away from your streaming business to recover from travelling. That's why they can charge so much for it - because they know you're paying for business time.

I feel like we've all had these really anxious, terrifying moments where we NEED TO GET ON THAT DAMN (insert vehicle) but everything, and I mean EVERYTHING is trying to stop you. But then...An unsung hero employee rescues us in one way or another and becomes true saviors in our little horror story. I'm positive these success stories happen to everyone, but Lud is just so good at telling these stories that you'd think it was a Zack Snyder re-shoot of the whole event. Love it. Also this is why you should be polite to employees at any establishment unless they're being rude or something. Hell, even then kindness against rudeness has a way of making someone realize they're jackasses and then they help you instead.

7:20 airlines have you scammed into thinking that. My dad's an airplane mechanic, so we used to fly standby (free/cheap ticket as long as the plane isn't full) as a kid, and multiple airlines have printed thousands of tickets for us right before boarding, even minutes before the plane leaving.

Sydney is absolutely the worst place to go out unless you plan to kick it at the same place until 1-3am, otherwise you definitely want to be in Melbourne, everything's open all night and there's more than 2 places to go after 11pm ;)
