Such a beautiful old world style property! The greenery and type of trees all around reminds us that Bangalore had a hilly landscape before urbanisation … its elevation is higher than Dehradun. Just loved the exotic way food was served and the history behind it.

Since you're in Bangalore you might try other nearby Taj properties as well. Taj Bekal ( kerala ) ,my personal favorite is by the sea with a private beach and has a lagoon running through it. Taj fisherman's cove ( near Mahaballipuram ) is also by the sea and is famous for it's seafood. Taj Chikmangalur is on the hills and will give you a foresty feel like this Bangalore one. Taj Connoor is also there but a smaller property. Taj Mangalore is near a fishing port where you can watch the fish auction . Each Taj is unique to the place it's located in but all the properties are well maintained, good hospitality, standard food this side of the country. Many of these are pet friendly too which might be an added advantage to you.
