I’m going to Disneyland for the first time alone by myself on Wednesday for my birthday. Low key nervous but you made me less nervous and more confident enough to go alone. I’m always going with someone or like a few more people but I’ve never gone alone. And I really want to know if I’ll be able to handle it alone. Guess I’ll just have to find out

I did Epcot alone and loved it. I could take my time looking at the detail and the countries I loved the most. It was great.

Epcot is the BEST! I could spend days at world showcase. The details are amazing! Glad you got to spend some time there solo 🥰

...i'm going to Disneyland by myself in 3 weeks and i am sooooooo excited! haven't been to DL since my kids were little! they're all grown up now, but since my wife and sons couldn't get our vacay schedules the same, i decided i really needed to see a life-size Millennium Falcon and cross that off my bucket list! 🤣 after watching your vlog, i'm even more stoked...and i don't care if I'm the only one wearing a mask, too...and thanks for showing that you are an avid reader! will bring a book to read while in line, too! 👍🏽😁

@72 I just came from doing a solo trip to Disney and had the best time ever. I injured my knee after I made reservations so I rented a scooter from "Scooter Bug". The employees manning the rides were absolutely wonderful guiding me through with my scooter, me always entering through the front doors. I few times I was able to enter through the "single lanes". I rode, ate, and shopped when I wanted -- lots of freedom. Helena is so right about getting "immersed" into the world of Disney magic -- so that I never thought about feeling lonely. It's that feeling when I drove through the tunnel -- "I am back".

Ahhh sooo fun!! Thank you for sharing a day at Disneyland with us! 😍✨🥺 I haven't been in 8 years but when I lived there I had an annual pass (so worth it!!). I'm so happy you showed the man on the porch with the banjo from Pirates of the Caribbean! 😃 That is my favorite part of my favorite ride!! I am the same level of introvert that you describe (I need about 70% of my day alone, or more haha. You explain it so well.) and I never thought of it but it's so true that I will start to get a little lonely towards evening but I can be alone all day happy as can be. ✨ Thank you Helena, I Loved this adventure!!

In September I did the same thing and went around the park alone from open to close. Easily one of the best days of my life (and i definitely didnt ride matterhorn over 30 times that day after counting but we dont speak of that)

I love Disny alone or with loved ones. Disny alone affords the opportunity to have lots of moments of serenity (ha ha, serenity now-Seinfeld). Really, no one cares what you're doing. The only awkward moment is getting onto dark rides alone and looking the staff in the eye as I say, "one, please!" Yes, I must admit that is a bit weird but really not a problem. BTW, Disny will usually replace any food "malfunctions." Gr8 vlog!

I feel like I am either 10 times more introverted than you are, or I have morphed into a Crumudgeon as I have gotten older. Disney is probably the last place on earth that I want to spend any time at. It’s expensive and I hate waiting in line. So places like Disney and Six Flags are the places I avoid. I also got motion sickness when I went on the Honey I Shrunk the Kids ride with my daughter 17 yrs ago. But, glad you were able to enjoy yourself.

I didn't grow up watching Disney and never been to a Disney park. I probably won't go as it doesn't hold that much meaning for me, but it was super fun to get a peak in what it's like and watch you enjoying it so much! You joy is contagious, as always! Kudos to you for bringing sustainable cutlery with you! I try to do the same. I bought a very lightweight titanium set in a box and just always have it in my bag. Now I need to find a good solution for a mug. I have a metal one that I try to carry with me, but it's so bulky and kind of heavy...
