In the Gospel of Luke 24 v 13, Dr. Luke tells us that Emmaus was threescore furlongs from Jerusalem. Threescore = sixty furlongs; and there is eight furlongs in one mile, therefor, the distance from Jerusalem to Emmaus is seven and one half miles, i.e. 7.5 miles which would take less than two hours to walk. Emmaus is nowhere near Gaza . Gaza city is around 52 miles from Jerusalem. Listen to Mar Mari's talk again, and read Dr. Luke's account which is greatly at variance to Mar Mari's. Dr. Luke was a person who got his information from eyewitnesses of the actual events probably from the two who were on the road to Emmaus, I think his account of the distances are more accurate than Mar Mari's. He needs to rethink his facts because they are wrong.

In Gaza there is an Ancient synagogue from the Byzantine period from the 6th century. (That is, long before the Arab conquest, which only began in the second half of the 7th century.) And in the 16th century, Gaza had the third largest Jewish population in the Holy Land (after Jerusalem and Safed). Gaza is also mentioned in OUR Hebrew Bible. They drove an ambulance up to the hospital emergency entrance, men got out, opened the back of the ambulance, took the guy out, who was in a blanket and they ran with him away from the hospital entrance. The film was live. I asked the camera guy, on the live chat, ‘why did they run away from the hospital entrance’? He immmediately went off air. In the Gospel of Luke 24 v 13, Dr. Luke tells us that Emmaus was threescore furlongs from Jerusalem. Threescore = sixty furlongs; and there is eight furlongs in one mile, therefor, the distance from Jerusalem to Emmaus is seven and one half miles, i.e. 7.5 miles which would take less than two hours to walk. Emmaus is nowhere near Gaza . Gaza city is around 52 miles from Jerusalem. Listen to Mar Mari's talk again, and read Dr. Luke's account which is greatly at variance to Mar Mari's. Dr. Luke was a person who got his information from eyewitnesses of the actual events probably from the two who were on the road to Emmaus, I think his account of the distances are more accurate than Mar Mari's. He needs to rethink his facts because they are wrong.

I must be honest, my hearth was as hard as steel for both sides. I couldn't see little angels, I saw Muslims executing people for becoming Christian. I saw Jews spitting on Christians leaving a church while they were carrying The Cross. I saw people that hated me. I didn't care what happened. But this story kills me. I can't stop crying. These people really need our help. I wish I can contribute, but I can't take care of myself at this point in life. My heart bleeds for these people.
