That was great, thanks for sharing! I definitely wish there was some type of committee that was out there to help maintain her grave. It really is deserving of that kind of attention.

If our people don't do it, no one would. I was watching another guys channel who visits graves of people. He was literally in the vicinity of Tubman's. I asked him could he do 1 of her and he replied that the person he visited was his concern in so many words.

Incredible stuff. Her entire life is remarkable and people forget after the Civil War she became active in supporting Women Suffrage. Truly an American Hero.

Auburn, New York appear to be a beautiful and it is a historical place. Historically speaking, it is good to remember those who struggled to give other black people freedom. However, there were many who helped her in the struggle. Did you know that my great grandmother's sister was a friend of Harriet Tubman's and also assisted in helping black seek struggles? Believe it or not, if you visit a library, there is a picture of Harriet Tubman and my great aunt/great grand mother's sister in a photo. My father saw the picture and asked my father if this is your grandmother's sister, your aunt? He said, "Yes." About a year or so after seeing the photo, he died at 103. I miss him so much not only because he was my father but my father was a walking encyclopedia and new so much about this country that textbooks don't even mention.

You would think that out of all the Black Wealthy Athletes, Musicians, Actors, Oprah...they would give Mrs. Tubman a well deserved Memorial site...but no their Bling, cars and mansions are to important.

Is that her real grave because they said she died in 1913 and her tombstone says something about 1937?

I wonder why her grave is not upkept. She has done so much and her grave looks like its unkept
