Ohhhh my goodness Jeremy's grandparents are beyond adorableness. I'm 70 yrs old retired to Texas but I was born and raised in Manhattan NYC. Your grandparents house reminds me of my aunties house. I LOVED that old house. She had a covered patio where auntie would sew for hours. So glad you got to do all that you did in NYC, the city that never sleeps. I was raised Assemblies of God in NYC with pretty much the same rules. It took me years and listening to Jihn MacArthur and then working for David Jeremiah in El Cajon CA and hosting Voddie Bauchum and other speakers that teaches only purely from the scriptures and I became 'free indeed.' Thank you for all you're doing to help other out from under that bandage. God bless you.

Jessa: My 27th child will be a gift from God. Jessa: My mom carries around her uterus in a wagon. Jessa: My house smells like dirty diapers and regret. Jessa: Gideon is going to shoot Evie in the face with a gun Austin leaves on the table and I'm gonna laughhhh! Jessa: Can I just admit I don't like Henry? Jessa: My abortion was God's will, yours isn't. Jessa: I had an abortion because it was Jeremys. Jessa: I had my first abortion because it was Joshs. Jessa: I totally didn't see Jana and Laura naked together. Jessa: I would write a book but no one would read it and I can't spell. Jessa: I watched my daddy physically, mentally and financially abuse Jill and I smiled. Jessa: Austin only beats Joy 3-4 times a week. Jessa: Would someone please get Ben a job so I can feed my kids something other than lemonade powder? Jessa: I didn't mind doing laundry because I peed on it. Jessa: We are NOT IBLP! Which means we are totally IBLP. Jessa: I liked what Josh did. Jill had to be a snitch. Jessa: I only have a 7th grade education but.i think I talks perty goodly. Jessa: I dress like a shepherd. Jessa: I get super fat when I'm pregnant and look like a constipated walrus giving birth. Jessa: Claire dresses like a 40 year old librarian. Jessa: Josh sends Anna his spunk in envelopes from prison so they can have 15 kids. Jessa: My dad's breath smells worse than BBQ Tuna. Jessa: Jinger is dumb, anorexic, traded one cult for another and is anorexic. Jessa; Jeremy only married Jinger because she's damaged goods. Jessa: Jubilee was lucky. She didn't have to be raised in a cult Jessa: Josie shouldn't have made it. Jessa: Ben likes it when I free bleed each month in his mouth. Jessa: My as* is for Bill Gothard only. Jessa: I hated my little buddies. I beat them. Jessa: Blanket Training is the best way to beat the spirit out of your kids I mean make them behave. Jessa: My mom is on so much Xanax because of Josh she can't stand up. She just drools in a cup, and pees herself Jessa: I'm daddy's new wife. Jessa: I hope Ivy marries a Spivey so she can be Ivy Spivey. Jessa: I'm homeschooling my girls so they can have no chance of a career. Jessa: Kendra should shut all the way up. She is either pregnant, or about to be pregnant. I'm so jealous. Jessa: Jed! us so f*cking annoying and he's right, Katie is fat. Jessa: Ivy is chucking out so I put the whale on a diet. Jessa: Lauren sure went on and on about that miscarriage. "My baby is dead! Whaaa whaaa whaaaaaa!" Jessa: We all hate Cousin Amy. Jessa: We practice birth control. Ben c*ms in another room.

Hi Jinger. I grew up in a strong traditional Christian home, but I’ve lost my faith due to the hypocrisy you see in much of todays churches and their leaders. But you give me hope that I’ll eventually find my way due to your realism and honesty. Thanks so much! And keep on being you! ❤️

Aww i remember Jeremys grandma and when she met you she was so welcoming and loved you instantly - seeing her with you now and the true love she has for you is so beautiful. Its such a blessing to be welcomed into a family with such open arms as tou have. I absolutely adore Jeremys grandma and may i say her cooking looks absolutely amazing. That grandma and that food its no wonder that's Jeremy's happy place. When you reach adulthood and still have your grandparents you truly realise how lucky you are.. your still a kid around them whilst being able to have a different/more adult relationship with them at times is so precious. Sending lots of love to his grandparents. May they have many good years ahead of them 🙏

Thank you for sharing your story Jinger. You both are a wonderful team together. I am a devotee of Lord Krishna Via A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada's Bonafide teachings. I have always loved the Duggar Family and always prayed for their Greatest Good and Highest Joy. I would periodically share about how the Duggar family does their courtships and Marriages. I always felt things could get really rough being the family became public figures. Though I was grateful that they took the opportunity to teach the world simplicity and family devotion to Christ and God. And the chastity of women, taking care of the home and homeschooling etc. I never knew what cult of Christianity they followed until just the other night watched Sweet Jill Duggars Testimony from the Shiny Happy People Interviews. It is very unfortunate what happened with the eldest brother. Anyone can understand that Mr. And Mrs. Duggar had all good intentions to raise their family in the best Christian way they knew how. Even they wanted to cover it up when the story came up publicly, it is understandable from many angles, as they did not want the family name to be ruined or their mission to spread high religious principles in Christianity to be stopped or defamed. On the other hand not handling the situation with the son in the beginning and brining. him back into the home without proper psychological help made him a danger to society and his family. But they did what they felt they needed to do at the time and it backfired. No one is perfect. I still regard them as great souls and followers of Christ. Actually the main principles of the teachings of the cult leader are good according to all basic religious principles. Though some of his tactics were incorrect and extreme and many abusive and that he set people up to follow him instead of Christ and God. So that is where it all went wrong. And to use extreme tactics for child raising will never be effective in the end result as we can now see.. It does not seem that Mr. and Mrs. Duggar used those tactics to the extreme as far as physical abuse. Probably only the family knows all that. The blanket reprimanding really sounded abusive and wrong. For women to be chaste, sweet, loving Mothers and wives and under the shelter of first her father and then her husband after marriage are basic religious principles that also stem all the way from ancient Vedic Religious principles from over 5,000 years ago. Without someone being the leader which is supposed to be the man in the family, then there will be chaos. The problem with todays society is women going out of the home and even girls being promiscuous at an early age has caused unwanted children and broken homes. They should be married young. The problem is our society is not set up for all that outside these cults who actually follow these principles of God. On the other hand these cults are usually corrupt and extreme and end up exploiting women and children which the whole point of Gods laws are to protect women and children and bring happiness. God made these rules for our protection, happiness and safety. But when the man of the house becomes abusive then the entire infrastructure of the family and actually teachings becomes corrupt. What to speak of the Learder or leaders of an institution. As the whole principle is the man is to protect his family in Love of God and as a service to God. So how can that have any abuse towards woman or children? That is sacriligous. So that is where it all goes wrong. I pray for all of the Duggars that they can find their eternal relationship with Christ and God. (Whom we call Krishna). That will bring them true happiness. May the Greatest Good and Highest Joy Be Yours. (Hari Bol!)
@JayasriRadhadevidasi
@JayasriRadhadevidasi 11 ай бұрын
PS... I just wanted to clarify that Srila Prabhupada was a pure leader and Pure son of God. He taught all principles of religion and he never was corrupt. His main teachings is to proclaim or (Chant the holy names of God what ever ones religion. That we should always be glorifying Gods names. No matter what ones pure religion. And that the principles of religion are all One and God is One. But after he left this word things went wrong and people where changing what he said and taught. Many leaders within the religion became corrupt and misused their power over women and children and others. This polluted the whole thing. Even it started happening while he was on the planet And when he found out that one of the schools that the teachers where over mandating and abusing children he shut down the entire school. There. And he set the rules that there will be no hitting or abuse of children. So he was very against this extremism. But after he left they again changed things and did many things against the teachings. The truth and teachings of His Divine Grace Still remains. It is unfortunate that those children that where mistreated and abused had to go through. This happens in every good society actually. We all have free will. We can not blame Christ or the true teachings or the pure principles of any religion when things go bad. We should not throw the baby out with the bath water. Let us seek the true purity as purity is the force that Christ taught. Love you Duggar Family. And Jinger and Jeremy and family! Hari Bol! (Praise the Name of God)

Also, it was wonderful seeing that you still love and follow the Lord. Our three children won't have anything to do with God, church or religion after years of spiritual abuse. They blame us for raising them in the cultic environment instead of realizing that we were brainwashed as well. Your book was a blessing! Our son is also writing a book, but it is about how he was raised in a cult religion by cultic parents. Truly heartbreaking!

I wouldn't call, John MacArthur, and his teachings a "cult!" I know that there is a bit of error in the way that they think women should stay in their marriage, even if that means getting beaten up all the time, etc... As a woman myself, that was in a relationship (worldly relationship) and he beat me up just the once. I could not stay in a relationship that I most likely could have gotten abused again, not to mention I wanted to protect my son at all costs. So, hearing, John, and the Elders, say things like that is worrisome. And it's not Biblical. I also don't fully agree with the full Calvinist view, nor do I follow the Arminianism view either. I'm not sure what else is going on in the Church? But, I do love listening to, John's, sermons. I'm always edified, listening to him. I would really hope one day, Jinger, and Jeremy, could find a Calvary Chapel Church. Calvary Chapel, is a Biblically-sound denomination.

I've been frustrated how many of the interviews try to switch the focus to Josh. That must be difficult and frustrating as it can take away from the true message and heart of your book.

Probably has to do with the fact that the media will get honest responses from Jinger not the cliches her parents trotted out. Also Josh does come up in the book
