The first school in the access group go up to special group and the last school in the special group go down to access group. Special group is the one transmited for all Brazil by TV and they have more money to prepare the parade.

Brazil is absolutely diverse. There are almost a hundred musical styles, Samba, Bossa Nova, Coco, Baião, Vaneiro, Ciranda, MPB, Lambada, Axé, Xote, Frevo... these are just a few that I can remember. None of them resemble any Hispanic style. It's like making a video of New York and playing a tango. Nothing to do with it.

Great experience for you guys, but this is not the oficial parade. with the 12 samba schools. it's an access group parede with small samba schools not popular. The Big ones that you can see on television, with celebrities and huge costumes and cars is in another day.

This party has Quadrilha (a kind of group performance of a rural wedding), traditional food (most of them made by corn), costumes and some games. And, of course, music.
