The Russian people are so accepting, ind, and helpful. I was on a boat trip down the Rostov river. There was group of friends & family members having a potluck. A woman came up to me and asked if I would like to join them. About 5 or 6 of them spoke English. I went to fruit & veggies stand and went to pay. The weight & bag. The lady spoke no English. She looked at some of the stuff I pick and shook her head. She went over and picked some of better quality. They are wonderful people. I would go out walking at 19 or 11 at night and never felt unsafe. I would never do that in the US.

The thing this lady said about Churches in America is true in all Western countries. Here in Australia, I came as a committed Christian with a lot of dream to serve the Lord. Churches drove me out of Christianity. My oldest son lost interest in the faith because he and his brothers when little were ostracised when trying to mingle with other kids. My wife could not make friends and we could not share issues that couples and families face with other Christians and were segregated from the rest as untouchables. My wife found solace making friends online and predictably our marriage is almost over. Even now I reached out to three Christian women in confidence to help my wife - they not only breached my confidence but the pastor lectured me how I am talking to women secretly and I should not etc. So whilst I have and will never forget Jesus, I am not going to be conned into churches that hide behind we are not perfect (yet the truth is refuse to change mindset) and from the persecuted have now become an institutionalised persecutor. In my view the reason more people are not accepting Christ is because of a putrid Body they see everyday- more non Christians, like the women at my work in my team - help more and care more. I see that Jesus has risen but sadly left behind a rotting corpse in the form of today's church - people who are asleep in the light. They misinterpret the waiting on God as though God is a waiter who will clean up their messy table so why put in the hard yard?

If I tell you a Russian pensioner gets the equivalent of just over $200 per month, annual inflation is at 8.5 percent, the key interest rate is 21 percent and expected to rise, you have no clue. Russians spend almost half of their income on food. Utilities are cheap because Russia has a lot of oil and natural gas. But clothing and electronics are cheaper in the West. In Moscow and St. Petersburg you can earn double the average salary, but try getting an apartment that isn't a long commute to the center with that money. If you're a highly skilled professional, you can live comfortably, but you live in a police state that squanders its oil and natural gas wealth on surveillance and military adventures to bolster the little guy's ego. And we have all been embraced by our new friends and neighbors. I have a hard time internally when my country-supplied weapons result in civilian casualties. I feel like I should apologize.
@felakos1568Күн бұрын
