Hey! Chris here, owner of Ready. Set. Game! Thanks for stopping by and checking us out and thanks for the great review/shout out here! (Also, thanks to all the kind people in the comments!) It's pretty surreal to see my shop being known by so many people. We've been around for 7 and a half years now and not in my wildest dreams did I think we'd have so many people from all over who not only have been to the store, but loved it so much! It's an honor and it's humbling. Please come by anytime and hang out when you're around. We can maybe do some videos together, podcast, whatever. My life is gaming and I'm down for it! Local store I frequent has solid pricing. Mostly near market, never seen something over market, and sometimes they decided to downprice things. Like I remember they got in a couple 32x units and decided to charge $99 instead of the $150 you'd see online. It's 100% the owner's whim lol. And, usually, they seem to just keep the prices where they are until the item is sold. Not the biggest selection, as it's whatever is brought in, but I'd say a good mix.

I think Phoenix missed the point on the negative reviews of store number 1, the reason it was so well stocked was due to the owner having his personal collection out and charging at or above market price for almost everything available . It’s easy to have to have lots of inventory if no one is willing to pay the price you want to sell it for.

Hey gents. I've shopped here for years. He's straight to the point about his intentions just like Caleb. Always done honest business. For anything expensive (not just rare) he pays anywhere from 60-80% cash that is why he has so many good titles on the wall, he takes care of customers so yeah he has to charge market that's business. Not a fan of the first shop keeping every single thing behind glass it seems. I go to a game shop to browse, to physically inspect the items and be able to hold them so it's got to be a bit annoying to constantly ask an employee to look at something. Also, having his personal collection has to make his insurance be even more expensive plus, I wouldn't want my personal collection to be on display, no need for that and, it takes up space that could be used for inventory.

items behind the glass by itself are not a problem. First I check the titles and if I am interested, I will ask them to show it and then I inspect in full detail. Of course cheap games have way less reasoning to be locked like that. So there is that.

Also, it doesn’t target the front part, it only is the crown of the head. Start taking finasteride NOW. Also you can get topicals, but it varies from person to person. If you are really concerned about it and kinda pricey, you can do platelets. Do all of this instead of rogaine. My wife is a doctor. Btw. Hey man, thanks for all the informative videos on reselling, got into the business of video games last week and everything is hella cheap (even for pal) in the Netherlands, made about 180 in profits in week 1 and most of it is already in my bank account :). For anyone reading, I would recommend also scanning some pc titles every so often, didn't sell it yet but had a really lucky find for Silent Hill 2 Directors cut edition today, paid about 2 euros at the charity shop and its selling for 100 to 180 on ebay depending on condition :). Anyway thanks a lot from the Netherlands!

I'm not a fan of stores or sellers who sell fake bootleg games. These are still owned by the original companies. I also don't understand why any game collector would want them in their collection. They are worthless and will cheapen your original game collection. Just buy a cheap flashcart and play all of the unattainable and overpriced games.

2 things. If I want to see your personal collection, i'd do it on reddit or instagram. Second, if you're so focused against pricing at or above market price (aka, the highest 'buy it now' that's not selling that you happen to see on eBay), then I'm just going to leave and buy from the market that you're pricing against. Stores have their own expenditure, yes, but you don't have eBay and Paypal ripping your eyes out for 20-30% or whatever ridiculous amount that they take these days...and we all know the worst of these shops are giving like 3 dollars for some poor kid's pokemon emerald anyway so cut the shit.

"Ethical implications of reproduced Pokémon games" If Nintendo wanted to make money off the games, they'd sell them. Emulate them, buy reproductions, don't waste money on overpriced resellers.

I mean, personally, if I had a store, I wouldnt want to put my personal collection on display in it, due to the risk of theft. And say I had a collection at home and got robbed, my collection is a backup supply if shit really hits the fan. I mean, yeah I'd rather keep it, but if it meant keeping the store afloat after a big robbery, some things may get put in the store to restock it. Idk that's my mindset on it, it just feels like a huge risk. Cuz with it there, say the store is robbed, they're gonna go for the rarest and most expensive stuff first. YOUR COLLECTION. So you lose all your favorites instead of a few PS4s or PS5s, or some grail games that are just for sale. Which will suck 10x as much.

Reproduction cartridges are wonderful; nobody should pay $200 to play Pokémon Crystal on their GBC. The only ethical lapse here is the high price tag on those repro carts.

Stop using Rogaine. It does nothing and you’re throwing your money away. I’ve used it and other products, and I was left with an itchy scalp and a slave to a product. I’m 39 and have been shaving my head for 13 years now and it’s the best thing I could have done for my head. No more expensive haircuts, styling, hair products. From what I can tell, you’ve still got a great amount of hair so keep it while you can, but accept the bald or very short hair when it’s time. 😊

1 or 2 bad reviews is to be expected anywhere. It's when you start seeing multiple bad reviews that a trend develops. I've also seen the opposite where you have a 4.5 star store and it's just awful. Something to keep in mind is this channel is about a reseller. To be honest, you should not expect ebay pricing at a physical store. Ebay stores have their inventory in a basement or some storage unit, not a retail store. If you like your local store, shop there when you can. Support them!

honestly if you want a bad game store to review, consider Game Boss in Cerritos Mall and their sister location in Lakewood Mall in California. The yelp reviews are fun when you see "business owner Game B." response with stuff like trolls, cucks and sjw stuff.

Ok First store - as nice as it looked it is type of the store i would not visit again. If I want to admire somebody personal collection, I can watch youtube videos or i will go to a museum. I go to retro game store to buy the games, I do not feel well if the rarest items are not for sale (the feeling is like - haha i keep the best stuff and i sell just the inferior items). And the cherry on the cake. I despise if items are not priced (even more than old type of price stickers that are hard to remove. If I wanted to get pricing according to the current price chart, i can stay at home and open ebay or amazon listings. Going into brick and mortar shops is also about getting a good deal. I do not buy such excuse as repricing. Yes sadly a big inventory of more valuable games in such shop is a big red flag that something is wrong. Because normally those better items to sell fast. And the rare items to do accumulate together like that. There is always reason to that (out of reach and difficult to get location; inconvenient store hours; bad experience with the goods quality from the past and importantly high pricing). Second store- Repro cartridges are questionable. By labeling them as repro, they are at least not misleading customer. The only other legal issue might be selling counterfeit goods (as those copies surely did not get copyright approvals to be made (also it is easy to use "used goods" loophole. Otherwise, more limited offer actually can mean that things are moving from the shelves. So regulars do visit them frequently as new things can appear at any time and because of decent pricing they will not last long. Last store - The area looks more rural, so I assume, that it is cheaper to rent. Store is nice, however selection looks optically bigger (because how games and other goods are spaced on the shelves). In reality first store did have technically the biggest selection and with more rare games (for what was on sale). But of course the first store has bad pricing practice, so no wonder they have full shelves.

The reviews that didn't get high remarks at ready set game were probably people going in during the pokemon tournaments held there. It can get chaotic but that's my Pokemon place to go in Brevard county. It's next to Walmart in Indian Harbour Beach.

The Game Galaxy game store owner is a liar because I’ve been going to that store since 2016 and he has never had prices on anyone of the games so this whole “he’s stickering all the prices since the COVID boom” is complete bs to say the least! Only decent thing about the store is the selection otherwise you’ll be there forever trying to buy a regular game that he has now overpriced!

Keeping your personal collection in-store seems pretty risky. Just one robbery away from total loss. You know how you're not supposed to risk your life in a robbery? Well, you just made it that much harder for yourself to not do something stupid. Your employees are also not gonna bother saving it.
