But it’s Bandai, so it’ll be a good base set than 3-4 xpac sets and then they’ll shoot themselves in the foot and kill the game or make it absolutely abhorrent to play. This has been done on repeat for like 20 years by them

Then...I guess what I would do is stick to those first starter sets whatever they must be and the "old" rulesets to keep the game fun for as long as it was, all the way until "it wasn't." Then I'll pretend the rest of it just doesn't exist haha...at least that's what I think. Thankfully one of the beauty of boardgames is that we can do this and play our way at home with friends ❣️

I like that the Gundam franchise has been branching out recently. GQuuux is coming, Witch from Mercury was great, a new card game. Real interesting stuff for fans who felt it was getting stale or newcomers alike.

Very interested to see how this differentiates itself from Bandai's other recent card games. Last I recall, it still has ongoing support for a One Piece card game, the 2nd(?) Digimon card game, and just launched a 3rd(?) Dragonball card game system earlier this year.
