NY be charging mad money for apartments that don’t even look right🤦🏾♀️
@alvexok55232 жыл бұрын
Yeah, $2,000 for a place like that? The same type of place here in Kansas City would be $700 or $800. If that place at 9:30, in Brooklyn, is $2,000, it makes you wonder how much a big lavish apartment on Park Avenue is
@julianj98302 жыл бұрын
Downtown cities don't price their apartments based on "looks", especially New York. They price it based on location. New York has ran out of a lot of room, and so there is high demand for living. Thats why so many people are leaving. Who wants to spend 2k on a shitty place when you can spend that in a more rural area and get a 10x apartment.

Your incognito acting is so funny omg XD XD XD The audacity doesn't even begin to describe it. I live alone, on 5 acres of beautiful woodlands, in a custom built 1500 sq ft house, and pay just barely $700 a month in mortgage. To think people pay 3x-4x as much as I do to live in a 100 year old closet is just utterly horrific.

in the first apartment the thing you at first thought was mold but you said i dont know what that is.. that would be stainless steel wool shoved in a small hole under the sink where mice/rats would get in lol. shoving stainless steel in helps deter them bc they dont like the feeling when they chew on it lmaoo

Except for the thing under the sink in the first apartment, I did not see any issue. Yes that small fridge would be annoying. The steps are what one finds in old buildings, why were you acting surprised? Now the prices of them... but that is NYC. Instead of all the histrionics, you could gave told where they were; though I can understand that you want not want to have on your conscience someone renting them after watching your video. Also the reason for the yellow water us because the sink gad not been run for awhile, I do believe.

Love your act!😆...I totally agree with you on the incredibley outrageous amount of money those landlords are charging for rent on their basically crappy apartments...keep searching and I will follow!You're adorable! 🥰
@jsmith55093 жыл бұрын
You could probably save yourself some time, money, aggravation and effort by searching on StreetEasy. You can plug in your preferences and only be shown apartments that meet those criteria. NYC is only obligated to provide elevators in buildings six stories and higher. Also, if you want lots of natural light, you should specify south facing or east facing windows.

They certainly are not worth nearly $2000 for monthly rent. The space is small. It is worth $1,200 monthly maybe. It is ridiculous they are charging so much money for rent that most people cannot afford for such tiny spaces. The tenements may not have been in the best conditions, but at least they were affordable for working class single persons and couples and at least could have a living room and a bedroom and bathroom and kitchen, but if there were children, it would get tight and overcrowded, but at least they could have them in the living rooms. Now, they are charging a closet space apartment for outrageous prices that no regular person can afford.
