It was only a wee bit of silliness, but it made people laugh, and helped to open up discussions about the future of their hair. We really are constantly inundated with the idea that our hair is our 'crowning glory,' so it can be stressful to see our hair changing from age, health issues, illness, etc. Fwiw, I'm a huge fan of bald heads, both on men AND women. I do wish guys would appreciate how good they often look without hair. You don't HAVE to do it, but if you don't it just means that your balding will continue at the same rate it did before the transplant. So there is little point to do a hairtransplant if you are not going to take meds afterwards.

Literally at the 22 minute mark Dr Linkov mentions he was glad the man who made the video mentioned that you still need to take Min and Fin. I don't know why people can't get that through their thick skulls. A hair transplant doesn't magically stop the DHT / Male pattern baldness process in the areas that weren't transplanted / remaining... Even the transplanted hairs still can be affected.

I tried finasteride for 6 - 8 weeks but experienced really bad side effects (sexual & mood) and decided to stop it now. I notice I do have thinning near my crown area but it's not very bad. One thing that is not well explained/understood is that the "final" result is not necessarily better than the 70% percent mark. In some cases it could be even slightly worse as the hairs slowly enter their natural cycle, this asynchrony can cause a slight loss of density compared to the initial growth you experience in the first few months.

When finasteride causes elevated liver enzymes levels and one is forced to stop, are the any other alternatives? Other than topical minoxidil? Btw, oral minoxidil also effects hairs in other areas of the body different from the scalp. So topical can be better.

Most of that is because of his stupid haircut. He's got the sides of his head completely shaved with a high fade, then that long mop on top. If he'd get a normal adult haircut with the sides longer or the top much shorter so it was a gradual fade, it would look more natural. But he's got that British teen cut, even though he's clearly in his late 20s or early 30s. So maybe when he decides to become a grownup he'll ditch that dumb ass adolescent cut.

Mostly no. It's DHT that causes both hairloss (on males) and promotes body hair growth. Finasteride blocks that, so you end up keeping your hair longer and get slightly less body hair. Minoxidil slightly thickens existing body hair, but not to a dergee that you would notice.

Also the job...they wont give you days off more than 10 days which isnt enough. And its major "if" you get even those at the scheduled surgery days. Also Ive seen terrible results from Turkey.

Yes it is absolutely possible, but you should check for doctors who have experience with such curly hair because it's harder to extract and implant correctly.

Black African people usually have the curl even going down under the skin, which makes it more difficult compared to South American black people where the curl ends before going into the skin.

It's actually easier for black people because not only does the transplanted hair blend better, but you can get more drastic improvements if you enhance it with micropigmentation where they put permanent tattoo dots on the scalp between the transplanted hairs to fill in any remaining thinness. You could probably get about half your coverage with the pigmentation and nobody can tell because it's dark hair/dark dots/dark scalp so it blends together. Pale people would have a lot tougher time having everything blend together because the slightest color or texture differences are noticeable.

I'd assume it's because most people have the ability to transplant their own hair. Why use other people's hair and risk rejection when you can just use your own? And also maybe a hair transplant doesn't fix the internal problems that cause hair loss in the first place so someone with complete hair loss would need to address that first before considering a transplant. Not too sure though

Because you would have to take anti-rejection drugs to stop the transplants from being rejected. The anti-rejection drugs are bad for you long-term. The risk of this is considered worth it when the alternative is dying from having no kidneys. The risk isn't worth it when it's just for cosmetic appearance.

Nice thumbnail. In the lefthand picture the guy's hair is wet, his head is tilted down, and his bangs are pulled to the center of his forehead to display and amplify his hairline. Then in the righthand picture his hair is dry and styled to camouflage his hairline, and his head is facing forward. Also the lighting and the background are different. What the hell is the point of this? It REEKS of manipulation and false advertising. If you're going to do a before/after pic comparison for ANYTHING, use the same lighting and the same angle, and in this case style the hair the same. Otherwise it just looks like the improvement being claimed is complete bullsh:t. I wouldn't trust any surgeon or company with manipulated before and after pics like this.
