I don't agree with people making comments basically saying that as long as you understood what someone was trying to say you don't need to correct them, which is what @reesophia7456 had basically replied to @rachelr.n.3563. I apologise if my comment sounded rude, English is not my first language which is why I believe it's important to correct others when they make mistakes, especially because people nowadays learn more on the internet than they do in school and their everyday life. I also make grammar and punctuation mistakes and I appreciate when people point out and correct my mistakes because it helps me learn to not make those same mistakes again. What I don’t understand is why you are always telling these MUA‘s thank you so much I really like it, it’s really nice when she literally gave you a 5 o’clock shadow on your chin with that brown eyeshadow. Why didn’t you ask her if she was going to blend it or fix it or something? Also, if she didn’t want you filming her, you should’ve asked her well. If I can’t film you then why is it you think you can film my face for several minutes? That I didn’t understand either. I wish you would stand up for yourself when these people are this ridiculous. That’s not being chill, that’s being a doormat. As you said you’re paying these people to do a job and they’re supposed to be professional when they do it. They can say no to filming, and if the answer was a definitive no, i think you'd respect that. She was very very rude. There's no such thing as trade secrets anymore. Artists online share makeup tips and tricks constantly about makeup for different eyeshapes (almost none of these worst reviewed do anything with eyeshape in mind), the stripe of eyeshadow "contour" is not a trade secret. It was the green glitter lipstick for me - it looked like you had mold on your lips. I didn't rate her execution of it but the eyesahdow colour was ok. A bit heavy handed all round.

I’m not sure who she is going to show her videos to…potential clients? If I saw that on their website, I’d keep shopping around. The eyelashes are horrendous, the patchy, dirty “contour” lines…but then the lipstick. The eyeshadow is very nice, that turned out nice. The eyelashes look like she stripped a toilet brush and glued the strips onto Julia’s eyes. I had high hopes about the lipstick when I saw the color of the lip liner. I would comment on the attitude of the “MUA” and Julia having to work for free by being a table and a cameraman, but it seems everyone else has done that for me, lol ❤you, Julia. Thanks for going through all the abuse for your followers!

Her trade secrets....eye brows that aren't done, eye shadow down almost to the cheek bones, eye lashes that look like plastic fans, color correcting the whole face and then smearing it off, blobbing eyeshadow (contour) on the chin area and leaving it so it looks like dirt and using a green glitter gloss as a lipstick and not even covering the whole upper lip ... not sure what the trade was, but it can keep its secrets hahahaha

As a makeup artist, it’s true we don’t want our work seen during the process unless we give full permission. However, if she was ok with being filmed, no problem and she should not be so rude! I found it so hard to watch this knowing you were also uncomfortable.. big hugs.
