Around the time you became a meme I was around 21 years old. I was pretending to be a masculine gay person because I was told by gay men that femboys were an embarrassment to the gay community. Eventually I got over it but it was a slow process. Even tho I was technically out of the closet, there were still a lot of things I wouldn’t do because I was told those things were “too gay”. Then one day I realized I was pretending to be masculine just to please people who didn’t even matter. Now I’m totally den and I love it. I still have certain struggles as a femboy but expressing myself is no longer one of them

Im glad to see that you also, found the beauty, and comfort, of just being you! I sort of did the opposite though! I've always had some feminine traits and such. Probably from being raised by, and around, mostly women. I grew up being told of how I could be more boyish. Then came out, made some gay friends, and got told that I and my interests, weren't "gay enough." So, for too long, I behaved like a living caricature around most people. I'm glad that I grew out of that!

Being viral def ruined his life. This poor young man has gotten so much surgery he's botched. He looks like a completely different person and NOT talking about makeup. He just posted a gross status stating some "joke" about a pansexual 0rgy... I've been following you since 2014 and i always admire your corage and the way you always embraced who you were. I was 14 too very insecure and closeted. I never thought that i would come out ever, living in a very religious small town i grow up thinking that being queer was bad and a sin. I came out in 2018, and it was one of the happiest moments of my life, my family and friends supports me and i'm very thankful for that. When I first saw your clip many years ago, I had memories of being a queer gay teen and thinking "Oh boy, this kid is going to have a tough road ahead". And perhaps you did or did not. This is great! Love you! You don't ever have to be anything for anyone and you don't even need to know exactly who you are. We're all figuring it out as we go along. No one really had the answers. You are the one who knows yourself the best. And I personally appreciate when people are real and not one dimensional because that's not sustainable. I watched the vid when it first came out and I still come back and watch it on KZbin regularly when I’m feeling worthless. It reminds me of the power that being yourself and knowing your worth holds. You were so out of place in a group of a bunch of little kids, yet you stole the spotlight, not because of your age, but because your personality shined bright enough that you were the only thing anyone noticed. You’re the kind of person who people look at and think “damn… I wanna be like that.” Some of them are too insecure to admit it, though, so they just spew hate instead. Jealously is a crazy thing, and there’s nothing that makes people more jealous than seeing something love and enjoy themself unapologetically.
