Lovely photos as always, Henry. I wish I'd spent more time higher up in the Lakes but I always stuck to the lower peaks such as Heron Pike though I've been up Helvelyn on a mountain bike. First photos I took there were on a Brownie 127 (which I still have) when I was 10. I'd be wary of getting too far from a lake now though with my artificial hip, a slightly wonk ankle and a tendency to find myself falling over for no apparent reason. I've been thinking of going pony trekking though so all is not lost.

Bro. The reason I love your channel and have neglected all the other channels I follow is because you make me want(on a visceral level) to go out and shoot. You bring the true love of the idea of landscape to the photography aspect of that pure love. You think without overthinking and it shows in the work. CLASS!

Hi Henry, I've been binge watching your videos for the last week. Love your enthusiasm, love your images. So inspiring! I like that you keep the technical side relatively simple; de-mystifying it to the point that I find myself saying 'I could do that'. I've got two trips to the Lake's coming up in Sept and October so have just bought your lake district location guide ebook-what a useful book. Cheers!

I hate the way it happened, but I love the fact that Henry is now shooting with a full frame sensor. I cannot wait until he discovers that “need” to revisit a lot of the shots and locations that he visited in the past, but now shot with a full frame sensor. I have a certain landscape that has become my reference standard.

Loving the reflected dark tones in Bowscale tarn.. Dark and ever so moody, spot on.. Still staying with the dark and moody for the 2nd image but with splashes of light adding colour and form Fabulous image of the beautiful curve, taking the eye to the upward slopes of further fells, all topped off with some lovely cloud/moodiness.. Top drawer Henry.. Thank you for taking me along with you..
