We just moved to California from Iowa, and Gemma wanted to send a special gift to her dad on his birthday. He is a big Beatles fan, so we recorded this on our way back from an out of town show, while stuck in traffic.

Very rarely have I liked covers more than an original, especially anything recorded by The Beatles. Amazingly, I just stumbled on to this beautiful piece 7 years later. Definitely one of my favorite covers of all time!

I loved my Saturday lunch time sessions at the Cavern as a 14/15/16 year old, listening to the Beatles doing cover versions, of artist back then and now their songs are probably the most covered in the World. Beautiful. This was the first Beatles song I heard when I was 4 years old in 1969. My mother played this song for me and this song holds a special place in my heart. My Mother passed back in 2020 and it touched me that you dedicated this song to your Dad. God bless you 🙏

Yep , from the " white double album " . Believe it was the last song. Some say it was just a filler song to complete the album, it was so short , only 1:48. It was one of my two favorite songs on the album and wished it was longer , didn't have KZbin then so I could loop it.
