"Jaws" hit theaters when I was 5 years old. I wanted to see it SO BADLY. I was so into nature in general, but especially anything having to do with the ocean. Naturally, my parents wouldn't take me to see it. My mom had the paperback book and I tried to read it, but mom saw & snatched it away saying it was too scary for someone my age. (I read it when I was older and found out she was probably more worried about all the sex scenes.) To make it up to me, my parents did take me to a big aquarium where they had dolphin & sea lion shows and a giant round tank with little windows you could look through to see all the sea creatures cruising past. I must have stayed there for an hour watching the rays and sharks drift lazily past & watching all the fis swarm around the artificial reef. This game looks so awesome. I love underwater games. I still play "Subnautica" and whenever I'm stressed & need to unwind, I fire up the old Wii and pop in one of the "Endless Ocean" games. I've got both completed to 100% so I can pretty much go anywhere in them.

That's a cool story. I wish I had the chance of going to an aquarium. I'm 28 and the closest I've been to ocean wildlife was in a small beach where activists would protect sea turtles at all costs. They were nursing an old pal back to health and I had the chance to touch it. Except for that, only dead animals in the market to eat (and I love seafood). I also have a deep love (fear and respect) for the ocean and a game that TOTALLY got my eye is Abzu. I didn't have the chance to play many of the games with underwater themes, but I understand you. *virtual high five because Social Distancing*

Consider yourself lucky to have vigilant parents. I saw it when I was around that age and it gave me nightmares even to this day, lol. Sharks are amazing creatures and get such a bad rap. I noticed that the first shark's belly was funny and I thought "Oh, I wonder if it's a female". Then the narrator said "She has little to fear" and I said "oh, I was right!" and then the opened her up and I got LEGIT upset with the situation. I don't know, I have a HUGE respect for sharks, they are majestic creatures. I hope the baby gets to eat that arsehole in the future. Also: TierZOO taught me that bull sharks can survive in fresh water too, and this game's choice to have a bull shark instead of a great white screamed in my face "this thing will hit a town and it will be a massacre".
