Yeah, I'm just here to recommend stuff. It's a "what does this button do" form of curiosity for me. Curious of what your reaction would be. Loving your reactions. Anyways... Harpoonneet MinusT 2Manysnacks Sward For a brief summary, all do animations. The first two are focused on Touhou Project games. Harpoonneet is comedy, MinusT is action. As for the last two, the focus is on Hololive streamers. 2Manysnacks is digital while Sward is stop motion. Also, Touhou Project and Hololive have a lot of great music, if you're looking for more music to react to. Especially the fans of Touhou Project, who do a lot of interesting music. For a quick experience of this, I would recommend the six songs of Touhou Holoism, seeing how one person in Hololive is a huge fan of Touhou Project. And if you prefer something more twisted, I would recommend Poppi the Performer. It's about a circus performer who's stunts go wrong, often to dark or hilarious effect. Sometimes both. Poppi the Performer animations are short CGI works.

Give the current status of the movie, which is still happening despite not going to HBO Max (thank God), this is the perfect thing to ease the tension. Ben Bocquelet deserves to have it happen after providing one of Cartoon Network’s best modern era shows and one of my favorite shows, in general.

In the two parter The Disaster and The Rerun, Ben and the crew flexed their writing skills to make a longer plot line that was entertaining, funny, and had a lot of tension and heart. It actually brought me to tears, but maybe I'm just sentimental. Still, a Gumball Movie sounds like a wonderful opportunity to see how this show will really take a plot and run with it! If we even get the movie that is... 😅 idk what the status is on that rn.

gumball is one of the few shows that can somehow do random humor correct without resorting purely on edginess or cringe as crutches. it can absolutely throw a out-of-nowhere curve ball in the story and not only do you accept it, it always manages to get a chuckle out. in fact, a lot about the show falls into that catigory. being one of the few shows that basically has completely different designs and backgrounds for every character and scene and not only manages to work, but it works so well you honestly can end up forgetting that some characters are literal 3d models in a 2d environment or 2d models in 3d environments. it also manages to show some really fucked up shit even for adult shows that you can only realize that it is fucked up once you actually take time to think about the context of the situation. or it refrences the community like shipping, OC's, the bootleg and fanfics. honestly a real diamond in the rough that really went out of its way to be unique.

Now that you have nightmares of gumball let me recomend something good with gumball. There is an episode wich explains the backstory of Gumball and Darwin wich i gotta be honest made me cry, its so wholesome. It explains how the wattersons became the wattersons. and there is an episode explaining how Anais came to the family but it's kinda... nightmare-ish sometimes. (and there is also an episode about how Nicole and Richard met wich is an okay episode) Another Recomendation, react to Steven Universe songs. They are really good, especally the songs: other friends, Here comes a thought and for just one day let's only think about love (edit:) I just realized that Mathew already have reacted to Steven Universe songs but still I want him to react to more! they are soooo sooo good and he even says it himself.

The funny thing about the robot Daisy doll is that it is a literal Chinese rip-off and probably a lot of people didn't notice on their first watch. When I watched the episode for the first time, I had to take a moment after hearing it and watched it again in a rerun to confirm my suspicion. The Daisy doll sings "Wo Shi Daisy" which means "I am Daisy" in Chinese.

I recommend listening to music from the KZbinr Clamavi De Profundis. Their channel is focused on making lyrical fantasy style music, with their family performing the vocals.
