In the Jain Mandir of Delhi, lies The Charity Bird Hospital for treating the injured and sick birds picked up by people from the roads and streets.
Started in 1929, this is the First Bird Hospital in India. They set these birds free after treatment, once they have regained back their health, giving them a second chance in life again to fly in the skies.
Having the mission of "Live and Let Live", this hospital serves more than sixty birds in a day for free.
