Yess I agree sis! I believe that we do use to much pressure on our edges. Although I do use a natural boar bristle brush to style me and my kids hair I am VERY careful on how much pressure and tension I apply. When they come home from school I make sure I loosen up there hair ties immediately and place their hair in a bonnet and it has been working for us all since the jump. Yes and *permanently* dying your relax hair can be the ultimate destruction to your hair! In the past I have dyed my hair mahogany brown (several times)and it didn't cause not an ounce of brittleness, dryness or breakage, but I do believe it was because of the color any color in the dark/ medium brown and of course black shades tend to not cause too much harm or not any at all (if taken care of). Anything above that will give you way more damage, dryness, crazy breakage and hair fall! Ladies if you want a temporary color change use wigs/ extensions, rinses or those temporary hair dyes. Your hair will thank you! 👍💯

Some of the hairstylist needs to close their saloons if they don't want us to tell them what we like and dislike in the salon and my experience in the salon was horrible 🤣🤣🤦♀️

I saw that she butchered your hair, causing you a major setback. I am so sorry hun. There are hair professionals who are really intentional in their practice and who teach you how to maintain or improve your hair. However these seem to be few and far between.
