The heli pilot in the beginning of the Embassy mission is actually the original trilogy Price! He came in to do a special voice cameo for the game. Was cool to see him pass the torch in a way to the new Captain Price

@@355illyrian Because he retired from the industry. Voicing and doing Mocap constantly is something Barry Sloane (current Price) can pull of due to his age and fitness, Can't expect Billy Murray to do that anymore but he came back just for that brief cameo

If you noticed, Price asked Gaz multiple times "you broken?" And in MW2 campaign when Price got shot and Gaz pulled him into cover, he gets to ask price "You broken" We stan father son, price and Gaz moments while also talking like f-ck buddies

Loved your MW2 playthrough so I decided to watch this one. Never played it before but good lord this is A LOT. The entire Homecoming mission, man. Anyway, gonna watch the next bit and seconding that you should totally play the original trilogy. There's a lot of differences and some really good moments.

So while MWII was a fun action game, this Campaign is InfinityWard's re-creation of the Syrian Civil War with Kurdish Fighters and Special Forces against ISIS and Al-Qaeda, a well as a proxy war between the U.S and Russia. Many of the missions are re-creations of real events such as the ISIS Paris Attacks, Benghazi Embassy Raid, Operation Neptune Spear and the 2nd Chechnya War. The narrative of this game is inspired by Lone Survivor on the moral complexities of warfare so unlike it's sequel, MW19 is very grounded in reality for the most part and sends a very real and thought provoking message that war is not black and white but shades of gray.

Great comment, but I think MWII is also inspired by some real elements, in a less specific, more general way: The opening mission is obviously inspired by the assassination of Qasem Soleimani. Corrupt U.S. generals sitting in the Pentagon are real. Shadow Company and Konni Group are inspired by real mercenaries that had some Middle-East connection, the mission Hindsight is based on the 2004 Fallujah Blackwater ambush. And scarily, Cartels are becoming far more powerful, (to the point of being almost their own rebel nation) and they have business connections to Islamic terrorists, just like the main plot.

@@Nineteen1900Hundred Sure but the way it was presented wasn't on MW19's level and it became summer blockbuster-like. The border mission almost did it right but sadly, when you kill the guy with the bat it games you over while MW19 would have let your progress.
